I work for a local technology company, our company was seeking a Series A funding, and we needed research done for our investors. Jonathan and his team were absolutely professional, quick and accurate. They not only helped us with no assurance we'd ever lease a space, they were pleasant about it. We did receive the funding, and called on Jonathan to help find and secure a space. He was able to find us a great space in a short amount of time, and negotiate terms we did not ask for, and honestly did not expect to receive. It didn't stop there, Jonathan was instrumental after the lease in finding us vendors that were of quality to build the space out, furnish it, and overall just get us operational at the space. Jonathan is a true gem, he really cares about his clients and has mastered his craft. Kudos to you, Jonathan.

Jonathan helped me find the perfect place in Los Gatos for my first business! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and helped me not only negotiate a great lease but also led me through the proper procedures with the city for opening a new business. He was very professional yet never intimidating and very patient with me, as I am new to many of the ins and outs of starting a new business (I must have called him and asked him questions a thousand times!) The short answer is that "it depends". California law dictates that real estate sellers need to disclose information that may impact how attractive a buyer finds a property. The complete list will depend on the characteristics of the building and/or the area around the premises. We'd be happy to discuss this in more detail during a consultation!

Who pays broker commissions?

Typically, the seller of the property will be responsible for the broker commission. But it always depends on the nature of the situation, we encourage any sellers to thoroughly understand how all the fees and commissions are structured before accepting any offer.
