Sparc has helped me and always treated me with respect. I recommend them to anyone who is struggling with addiction issues.

If you have a problem, please get help. This is a great place to start.

Their inpatient program is awful. Their daily groups consist of reading out of a single book while sitting around in a circle in a small room for hours at a time, time spent outdoors is little to none, and you can go nowhere (indoors or outdoors) without observation. Medical care has to be begged for, their pharmaceutical provider frequently delivers medications late (out of crucial medications needed to function? oh well!), and they will deny things like prescribed anxiety medication and even non-narcotic pain relief. A self-proclaimed dual diagnosis facility, no one is trained to help patients cope with ailing mental health and are anti-MAT in addition to being vocally against mental health medications as well. They admit to only providing certain things because they are legally required to. I saw so many people with legitimate and serious health problems being denied proper care and gaslit over their symptoms. Other perks I appreciated consisted of having to shovel snow and salt sidewalks and being rewarded with chocolate that was snuck to us because the program forbid sugary foods, doing all of our own cleaning within the facility and not just our own rooms (scrubbing the toilets everyone else used was always a treat), 10 minute supervised phone calls twice a week with no visitation, hearing staff openly insult their patients both to their face and behind their back, being screamed at if we spoke to each other in the meal hall as complete silence was required, and just overall being treated like a criminal and simpleton by staff who consist mostly of recovered addicts themselves. If you are considering inpatient, make this your last resort.

Was only there to drop off grandson. The gentleman I meant outside was very kind very helpful very knowledgeable and I appreciate all his help I didn't get his name. I wished I had and the only way I can describe him is he scouted oh what a wonderful guy I thank him very much for his help. And everyone else from this point on

I am very close to Idaho of course they will take anyone that wants help and can make if there I take coast which is through special mobility services which is actually my Medicaid that pays for it I go 3 or more times a week
They have group for men and women every day. 1st Group starts at 10 am last one is at 6pm
It's completely random throughout your program. It's a great place to begin your recovery journey.
I was in it for 6 months it all depends on the person and how bad their addiction is!
I believe it means you no longer have to attend 5 meetings/groups a week there. Then you would be at level 1, which is 3 or less meetings/groups a week.
Yes
This building is outpatient *THIS* specific building is OUTPATIENT only. There are other SPARC offices which are inpatient. 6th and walnut is not. I know this for 110% certain, I got clean in their weekly groups.
Call them and ask
