This review is not for my surgeon, anesthesiologist, or nurse staff. This is directly for office representatives. I’ll never be back, and I’ll never refer anyone tot he care of UCSF. Peoples health should be at the utmost importance, the lack of care, bad attitude, and blatant disregard for the needs of patients is unbelievable. I’ve never had a worse experience in my life regarding them. The financial side is laughable. They add to the bill every month and even my insurance was shocked. Too bad, the students and doctors deserve better.

So my daughter had some lab work done and was sent to UCSF I paid my portion Of the bill and received another bill for the remainder of the bill. My insurance rejected the claim . So I called my insurance and they told me that they had my daughters birth date wrong and my insurance would reach out to them and have it fixed. They never got back to my insurance and I received the bill again called UCFS AND THE PERSON WAS SO RUDE . REFUSED TO FIX MY DAUGHTERS BIRTH DATE ERROR AND REBILL BECAUSE SOME HOW IT WAS MY FAULT. SHE WOULD NOT HELP ME AND I SAID I WANTED TO TALK TO A SUPERVISOR, OF COURSE SHE DIDN'T ANSWER AND I LEFT A MESSAGE AND NEVER RECEIVED A CALLBACK. I'M SO UPSET BECAUSE I WANT TO HAVE THIS RESOLVED AND FOR SOME READON NOT GETTING ANY HELP FROM UCFS.

Recently had cervical spine surgery at UCSF. I have been in several other hospitals in my life but have never been treated better than here. The entire staff from when I checked in to the day they wheeled me out was excellent. Truly made me feel like I was the only patient. Thank you!!
A Fashionable Condition
The sad part is my PCP is no longer at this campus. The upside is the parking garage maxes out @ $7 if you show yr disabled placard! No matter how long yr wait at the lab is, though they have stepped up the service there. If you are disabled & need to park at the ED, make sure to park in the ED disabled spaces b/c if you get out after hours or on a weekend/holiday,you get to pay The normie rate. ♿

If you have to stay over night they put in a sleeping cot for one person to stay with the patient. They offer rooms mostly at the UCSF childrens center.
Yes you can.
Ask your doctor or someone in the administrative office. UCSF should have a Medical Records Department as well.
Drive up and there is valet parking someone will come and help you
Yes
Unfortunately I was a patient not a nurse.
I am staying at the Courtyard Marriott Francisco/Downtown on Van Ness Ave. Very safe to stay a for parking.
Doubt it
For ucsf? No you can always go to emergency

If your insurance its worth millions yes they'll take it.. Most hospital do that now day's
By the rules it appears no. But if your age is close and you want to act the part of a fully mature adult until he is out, I doubt your ID will be checked.
Check the website & the SF city & county website 👍🏽
Does this center have a lymphoma clinic specialty?
Sorry that was your experience. Fortunately it was not mine.
I think so
Yes, you can
They allow a loved one to sleep in your room next to you. My wife stayed one week with me. Your loved one can also order off the menu for all meals ($9) per meal and food is great!
It's accessible, right across from the hospital, $4.00 /hour
The 10th floor of Long Hospital. Take "Elevator L" to the 10th floor, follow signs to the Nurses' Station, and introduce yourself.
Yes, there is a guest wireless network available throughout the facility.
