Intake staff was nice enough, and the wait to be seen was impressively fast. However, the provider that saw me was condescending towards my pain; she gave me a diagnosis without running anything but urine tests. The next day I ended up at the ED in a different hospital, and found out I’d been misdiagnosed and needed an emergency surgery. I almost died because of the provider’s misdiagnosis at this urgent care. Will NEVER come back.

I don't like this place. I am a new patient here & had two Doctors solar. First Doctor & I had a sit down, told him everything that I know is wrong with me & some things that has been present for years, but not diagnosed due to not being seen in 12 1/2 years, been told " Not accepting new patients " so he got a ear full. Every part of my body is in serious pain. He gave me plenty of meds, but NOTHING for my pain! So I get a new Doctor, chatted with her on my chart thing, didn't think I had to tell her what I told him, because I thought it would be all on the computer after my visit with him, however, I still had to run everything down to her as well! We had an appointment on the 22nd of this month, but I been telling these ppl that I'm bearly walking due to both of my knees need to be replaced, it's nothing but bone rubbing bone & it gas effected my walking, standing & how long I can do the two & at this time, I can't stand for 15 minutes, and barely can walk 5 ft cuz I will fall & the pain is unbelievable! I asked this Doctor for something as low as Motrin, she said no! ITS TIME TO CALL 6 ON YOUR SIDE! They don't care about you there! Your pain means NOTHING to them & now, this Doctor has ignored our phone meeting as well as all my msg's! I've had enough!

Came here for emergency dental issues and was turned away. Made me go all the way to UCSF to pay for four hours of parking because they did not want to help me. Worse experience ever! I needed help, support, guidance and freaking empathy and compassion. Some of those intake coordinators suck and got horrible attitudes for no reason.

I went here (the old location) a couple years ago. They were thorough; within about an hour, they decided to admit and brought me to the ICU, as I was deteriorating dangerously; there, I got better with a few days of IVSM. (But the ICU staff was terribly slow to start the IV - it took them about 6 more hours). But back to Urgent Care: what I just remembered, and earns the 5*s (I guess I'd kinda blocked it out, it was so awful.): For much of that hour, there was a frequently very cruelly verbally abusive, scary patient also in Urgent Care clearly suffering from paranoid delusions from severe mental illness. I was frightened and felt a bit sorry for her, but *terrible* for the multiple staff members that she was terrorizing, and I don't use that word lightly. Their high level of professionalism, including exuding and staying calm and gentle and treating her well and respectfully, despite it all, was phenomenal.
