People helping people. They help me feed 300 meals everyday. Thank you SF-Marin Food Bank!

First time delivering here. There’s a lot of construction happening on this property as looks like they are expanding and or renovating. The employees were friendly and helpful. Tomas in receiving was super nice. Man outside on street helped with directions getting in and out. I was a bit nervous about coming here not knowing what kind of room there is for big rigs. Turns out it’s not too bad, once you get to the docks after going around entire building. All went smooth from there. 👍🏻

Volunteer here! This was my second time volunteering here. This time we sorted and boxed apples. It was a great workout for the mind and body. Oscar lead the teams with his charm and wit. He really makes the whole experience a pleasure.

Yes! Here you can learn more about most needed items and drop-off. https://www.sfmfoodbank.org/fundraise-faq/
I don't think SF Marin accepts cooked food or restaurant food. Their website says "If you are a restaurant or caterer and wish to donate prepared or cooked foods, we encourage you to contact Food Runners in San Francisco or ExtraFood in Marin." So contact those other organizations - 'Food Runners' or "ExtraFood"
Hi, thanks for your question. Everyday, the Food Bank distributes enough food for over 100,000 meals to help our neighbors in need in San Francisco and Marin. For the largest trucks such as big rigs, it can take as few as 30 minutes to unload, and as many as 2 or 3 hours, depending on the type of food we are unloading and whether the load is uniform or a mix of products. The smaller trucks take anywhere from 15 minutes for a one-pallet delivery, up to one hour dependent on the load. Please let me know if that's the information you are looking for.
Yes!
They will, just drop them off
Shifts could last for couple of hours. Usually tasks include boxing oranges or making boxes You can call and ask the food bank about doing a shift.
