Our car got hit by two old white couples at New Horizons Bakery, Daly City. They rejected to give us their insurance and said bad words. We called the police and a white female police came to help. the female police said" The Honda pilot couldn't hit your car." She didn't even look at the Honda pilot. Wow! She is very unprofessional. We asked the female police. "Did you see the scratch on Honda pilot?" She looked the Honda pilot and our car again and said" There was not property damage or personal injured, no record." then, she drove away.

Was stopped by an officer of this department. He had not seen me in his area and wanted to make contact with me. Being i have a tattoo on my face... And the common misconception that everyone who'm has a tattoo on the face is either a gang member or has killed someone. This respond to me in this type of manner. He'd caught me checking them out during a call and decided to check me out. He was very courteous during conducting his investigation. As he genuinely seemed to want to know why i was in Daly City. I told him I'd seen them in the parking lot and wrote articles for a few different people in the area. I've read alot of complaints on the officers in this area. This is my second time stopped in this area once in Colma within six hours. As i do kind of stand out and often easily fit the description of some other criminals. Those complaints i read seem to have been written by people who want instant results and answers and I'm sorry that's just not how policing works. The officers on this team are dealing with an extremely diverse suspect pool and sometimes a simple yes or no answer isn't possible. This team of officers have to make crucial life or death choices often regardless of if it's a life or death call that they are responding to. So if it's hard for you to understand why they seem unwilling or unhelpful or on edge. Know this... It could be because the time they don't that someone's hurt. Yes or no is hard to commit to when someone doesn't know.

They deal with a lot of people who are disresspctful, break the parking enforcement laws, and a whole lot of idiots trying to get out their issued tickets, etc. Don't take it personal because it's not you. And you can always call the captain who over sees them to report the officer(just write down the truck number and time when it happened) You don't deserve to be treated rudely. Let the captain know your situation and he will help you anyway he can. I'm sorry this happened to you and I hope they help you resolve respectfully.

As bills on homeland security are passed departments in border states are encouraged to run plates constantly. Rather a stop is conducted is up to the officers decision. A senior officer might pass you up if it comes back unregistered or uninsured. To use his time to get to another complaint. While another officer may just decide to go ahead and make contact.
