LSS is a payee service for people receiving government benefits. Their services are free, they are friendly, and their hours are, unlike other payees I have used, normal ones where you don't have to worry about a narrow window of time to access your funds. They've been helping me with money management, what little there is to manage. There's a line on the first of the month but it moves quickly enough. Please note: when they first open their doors, they deal with clients who have mobility issues, which is actually quite nice of them- but plan accordingly if you do not have mobility issues. 👍

if you are looking for a reputable pay service, look no further. the staff is professional and have taken care of paperwork for me (i need a lot of help with paperwork!) they also pay the rent first every month... a nice feature for those who need a little more help getting their money to where it needs to go. the wait list was reasonable when we signed up. i give them two thumbs up.

Mike is a rude jerk. If I could give them zero stars I would. Communication with him is impossible and Lutheran Social services wouldn't assign another person because he is assigned to my whole building. He had me write down my pin number when paying my rent instead of using the device. The same day my bank contacted me with a fraud alert. Coincidence? Be careful with this agency.

A racket that helps property managers avoid sticky situations on the expense of their client/tenants. A rear guard for charity/corporations and property management HUD programs. Government subsidies is what is most important not the clients.
