Saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and it was amazing!! Go see it! We used Spot Hero App to get a huge discount on a parking garage one block down. The Curran is very cool, there is an elevator from the main floor to the restrooms on the lower level but it doesn't go up to the higher levels so you must take the stairs. The carpet and wallpaper are in Harry Potter themes. On the second floor the is a booth to buy House merchandise as well as one to buy Cursed Child merchandise. The first floor has a Cursed Child merchandise booth as well. The Curran also has wonderful snacks. I recommend the snack package when you buy you tickets. We were able to use two tickets for non alcoholic frozen lemonade in a keep sake cup.

Caught the HP show at this theater a couple of weeks back. It was a wondrous surprise that we could catch a live HP show while vacationing in SF. I must say the theater did the show justice by enhancing the proximity with the actors. I could feel the chill down my spine when Voldemort walked near me down the aisle. The theater was quite ornate while we were waiting for the show to start. Although the seats were really a squeeze tbh, but I still think it’s part of the history. Bathrooms are quite nice but I guess the floor of spectators after the show for a bathroom break was really no joke. The hallways and stairs were filled with people queueing plus those who wished to buy more HP souvenirs.

We came here for the harry potter and the cursed child show. It's a really amazing magic show, highly recommend. During the break time, they have staff to arrange the queue to go to the restroom and make and line pretty fast. Overall awesome experience!

Exceptional performance from all of the actors. Not a bad seat in the house. (Although very close together) Runs like a well oiled machine, Hardly any wait for concessions or bathroom. Attentive service staff that came to our seats. Only things I would suggest is perhaps more seating in the lobby since they have you show up an hour before they let you into the main theatre. I was feeling bad for a few of the older folks waiting. As they had to stand for an hour, waiting to get in to be seated. That being said, we will be back and enjoyed the experience. You do have to wear your mask the entire time.

Went April 30 , 2022 did not check vaccine only required mask to be worn at all times
This isn't necessary. When you get to the door show your confirmation to security and you can pick up the physical tickets at a booth on the left when you enter the lobby.
Mason o' farrell garage is nearby. $15 for 6 hours with showing proof of curran theater ticket
I just went last week. No proof od vaccination required but you have to wear a mask inside.
No booster was required on March 30th. As of April 1st you don't even need to show your vac card.
Theatre will be open. Great show. I saw the dress rehearsal last night.
You need to have tickets to get into the theater. So no, you cannot purchase merc like that
That will depend on the show. You should be able to find out in their website
You can always go for lower priced. The search is usually"best available".
Thanks for coming to the show! The song was called "Fairytale of New York."
Call the theater, this is a group forum, is not the theater
140 minutes with a 15 min intermission. Google is your friend.
Homer Curran, a theatre operator. It opened in February 1922. It was a Shubert theatre before that.
There are several lots within easy walking distance, but they are all fairly expensive. The theater is a short walk from BART or Muni though, and it's easy to get a cab or Lyft.
None, but it is a nice place and dressing in Business Casual or better seems to be the norm.
