First experience at the Der Dutchman. Overall, not really impressed. $11.99 for the breakfast bar is a good deal, if you're okay with mediocre food. The coffee was really good, however it was like pulling teeth trying to get a refill. The staff was surprisingly unfriendly. I haven't tried out the apple butter yet or the banana cream pie I brought home, but I imagine my rating will still stay about a 3 star.

I like that this place has a lot of room and can accommodate large parties. We had an awesome waitress named Emma. The gift shop here is so welcoming and beautiful. The inside of the dining area is so pretty,and it includes 2 areas that look like front porches,and there's even a carriage (buggy) table that seats 6. But the food is a tad over priced. Especially for food that is clearly just heated up food that is definitely not home made. The soup on the buffet had no flavor, and MOST of the hot food on the buffet had very LITTLE flavor and was dry. Except the roast pork and roast beef. Those were a little on the slimy side. Fatty actually. But the cold salad bar was great!! Both areas very clean! We had a large party and this was pretty much the sentiments of the group. Over all just a little disappointed in the freshness and flavor in the food. We like the sitting area with a TV and couches in between the bathrooms, dining areas and gift shop. There is also an elevator available to take guests from 1st floor up to the 2nd floor of the gift shop.

Omg this place is a eye attractant from the outside to all aspects inside. Selection of homemade craft items and food stuffs amazing. Place gleams with pride and cleanliness. Prices really not bad for 'tourist' trap type places.

First of all, thank you so very much for letting me park in the back parking lot in my RV for the night, there's nothing like a nice quiet safe place to park. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding! I tried a couple of things I had never tried before and even had my 1st Buckeye! Thank you so much, I'll definitely be back!
