I love the clothes here but the staff are horrible. I went into the store and got racially profiled. They asked to check my bag. I asked them why and they said that they do that to everyone. I then ask another person if he checked her bag and she said no. The security guard became rude and used the excuse that he was black so he couldn’t racially profile me. I don’t care what race you are it’s not ok to be aggressive towards anyone just because they proved that they were lying. Again I love the store itself but if your anything but white just prepare yourself. One of my friends had the same experience but I didn’t think it would happen to me.

Mario was absolutely wonderful to us as soon as we walked in the door. He was friendly and helpful!! It made the whole shopping experience 10x better :)

As with many vintage store wasteland has a specific aesthetic, I'd I say much of their stock can be integrated well into 90's and 2000s inspired outfits. They have a large selection. This is def one of the more expensive vintage/second hand shops on Haight st. Some inventory seems quite over priced to me, but they also have a lot of designer items and that's neat. Expect this shop to be quite busy any time you go, the aisles are tight, but folks are generally polite about squeezing past each other. the music is VERY loud. So expect it prob will be hard to chat much with friends in this store.

If you love designer resale shops this place is a must. Purchased some great finds this weekend. Definitely recommend and I definitely will return on my next trip to San Francisco.
