Love this farmers market!! Such good food options. Cute little shops, love the vintage shop inside the old bus. Fresh fruit and veggies are SO good!! And the build your own flower bouquet is my fave. I would say the one downside is sometimes it’s hard to walk with so many people, but that just shows how many people love it! (:

Strawberries were sweet as candy. ..and not a bad one in the bunch. Mushrooms..rocked. loved them. If you go remember to bring along some cash cause some of the produce vendors only take cash. Also bring your patience cause it can be very crowded. Beautiful flower vendor..you can make a gorgeous bouquet with all the different types of flowers they sell. However line can be long. But..loved it. Can't wait to go back.

A great place for your local shopping needs, and more taking place every Saturday 8AM to 1PM year round. Lots of fresh produce, arts and crafts, and of course - food booths! Both family festive and fun, its a great place to start your Saturday morning or weekend all togethet. The one and two man bands will impress you.

Thanks for the question! The market is surrounded by many public streets, some which have free parking for specific periods of time. I would check those signs when you are parking. There is not a free guest parking lot next to the market. The market will be bringing back the free bike valet soon if riding a bike works for you, and there are also many places to lock up a bike at the market. There is a compost drop off at the market. It is located in a large trash can near the sidewalk, on a landscaping strip, where Jazz Alley (the alley between J and K streets) meets 20th Street. We are connecting with the compost person to see if they are there each and every Saturday. We will share more information once we have it. Thanks for the question!

I can answer from the consumer standpoint, the farmers market has only been closed during holidays or heavy rain, from my experience. It has been open the past few weekends.

No! Many vendor take credit cards. EBT is also available.
