Trudy’s was the best wedding dress shopping experience I could ever have. I was truly paired with an angel, the best of the best, Judy!!!! She nailed it on the first dress she put on me! I showed her one picture and she instantly said, “ I already know from the top of my head which dress to show you.” And it ended up being the dress of my dreams!! I just knew that I would find my dream dress here. I felt all the feelings you should get when dress shopping. It was such a beautiful day and my dress is STUNNING!!!! Aloha and Mahalo! Can’t wait to show my dress off and get married in beautiful Hawai’i!! Thank you so much Judy!!! You are the best!!!!!!

I went to Trudys to try on some wedding dresses. At first I was surprised that my consultant didn't see any of the dresses I picked out and saved on my account. I showed them pictures of the dresses that I picked out and told them what I was looking for and got started. My consultant was very nice and experienced. During the appointment I noticed that I wasn't getting as many dresses with thick straps. I did originally ask for sleeves but found them to not look too good. I started asking for thick strapped dresses in particular and got the response that those wouldn't really look as good on me. I ended up ending the one hour appointment (seemed a bit short) with a dress that I was okay with but I didn't love it enough to buy it immediately. At the end of the appointment my top was measured but my consultant just told me if I wanted to talk longer to go into a different area so the next appointment can get started. (This was completely Fair because we went over by 15 minutes) we talked a little bit and I decided to wait on purchasing the dress. At this point I was a little lost on what the next steps were so I had to talk to the front desk. We went to my backup store the next day, Elegant Lace, and I ended up falling in love with a dress with thicker straps and a V neck top, aka the dresses my Trudy consultant didn't want to show me. I'm not sure really what exactly happened and why I didn't get to see the thicker straps, it kind of felt like my consultant just decided that wouldn't look good on me. Regardless it was a beautiful shop, with many pretty options. It was also really nice to get lunch after due to its location in the pruneyard. My suggestion is to try it out but make sure you have a backup shop.

We love Trudy’s! Extremely nice staff and beautiful dresses! Very comfortable relaxing atmosphere! We were lucky to have Trudy’s granddaughter helping us!

Over the weekend my family and closest friends joined me in search of my wedding dress. Everyone was so nice! My nerves were thru the roof! I should've had a drink before arriving lol Mary was my consultant and she was so kind and understood exactly what I was looking for. She pulled about 7 dresses for me to try on. They were all so pretty. But it was the second dress for me. As soon as she put a veil on me, tears came down my face. The dress was gorgeous & I knew it was the one. I couldn't have done it without Mary, and I was so grateful for her patience and expertise. She understood the assignment and delivered. Thank you to everyone at the Trudy Family for being kind and welcoming. I'll post a picture of my dress in 8 months when I get married.
