Nice little campground with toilets and showers. Sites are mostly small, good for tents. There are several larger sites suitable for small RVs or trailers

This is it affordable campsite in the city of San Diego. It's perfect for you to car camp and try out camping without making the Long haul to Julian. It is near a lake, meaning there are water spots so in the summer there are a lot of mosquitoes. I would enjoy camping in the fall or winter.

Pretty awesome campground. The camp host was very helpful. I spent Friday and Saturday night there. There was a religious group there Friday night by our campsite. They were up late. We could hear them, but they didn't seem belligerent. A staff member came to us Saturday morning saying other sites complained and she wanted to see how we felt. I thought that was awesome she checked. I told her they were noisy, but not an annoying drunk noisy, which come to find out, as part of there thing, involved alcohol. So the staff was very professional. The campground was overall quiet. My only 'complaint' is that I was at campsite 10 which is also the way to the amphitheater and some scouts were having an event (there were boys and girls). They kept walking by (back and forth), so maybe it was just a bad weekend to choose, but them being noisy as they kept waking by several times instead of just once there and back is slightly bothersome.

The camp ground is nice and clean. There are a bunch of trails and rest rooms. We had a great time camping there.

Almost everyone is friendly in this campground and surrounding hiking areas, dogs must be on leash though
Yes, you can. You just have to keep her on a leash or chain.
No fridays and saturdays only
Yes, you are.
2 days maximum, Friday and Saturdays for overnight stay. Other days, I believe the campground is open for day use only.
Bass , bluegill, cats and carp. Shore only. Limited shore access. Morning and evenings are best. Light if any fishing pressure. Try night crawlers
