Motel 6 Odenton, MD - Fort Meade

I’d give this place a negative 5 if I could. I chose this place because every other Motel 6 I’ve been in has been affordable and clean. Upon walking in to check in I was greeted with a trashy parking lot and a rude manager. The manager took his time on a personal call yelling and cussing at whoever he was speaking with. He also yelled at another customer that came in to ask for another phone. Once in my room I was greeted with a heavy smell of cigarette smoke, when the room was “non smoking”. There were cigarette burn holes in all of the bedding, bugs flying and scrambling everywhere. My boyfriend found feces and boogers along the bathroom walls as well. It was obvious this place and not been cleaned in ages, especially noticing the dirt lining the toilet. My advice is to never come here, and hopefully have the place shut down as it is a health hazard to all.

Positive: Allowed dogs Negative: Dirty comforter with cigarette holes in a non smoking room. Zero places to walk dog even though they call themselves pet friendly. Staff rude & unprofessional. Bed felt like sleeping on a concrete slab

They put me and my children in a dangerous room!!! There toilet was broken by the tank near the flush handle the way the lid sits on it its hard to notice this sizeable jagged edged hole tired in the morning I reached to flush and my cut the entire length of my middle finger severely 30 mins later the bleeding hasn't stopped the bigger issue I have a 3 year old autistic son who uses the bathroom on his on this is easily big enough for him to fit his hole are thru and he could have easily cut his wrists and caused an even more serious issue I will do not stay here General safety is not up to par

It's decent for the price and as a literal room to sleep in. Few amenities, and the towels were wet when we came in. There were also hairs on one of the pillows so I'm not sure if they cleaned it thoroughly enough. Also, we had to use the side, night entrance even though it was like 4pm. The food places and stores around it were spectacular, I'd rather review the pizzeria down the road - it was great! This place is worth it to be in proximity to that. I forget the name, but it began with a G.
