What happened to Levi's in Lake Arbor?? The food used to be very good. It's been a few years since I've gone there. Today, I had a taste for soul food. What a waste of $43. Nothing tasted good. Yams were not sweet, the chicken looked like it was boiled and then smothered with cheap barbecue sauce and served. The ribs tasted and looked like they were cooked, put in the serving pan, and then smothered with cheap barbecue sauce too. Awful!!. The sweet potatoes pie did not taste like sweet potatoes. What a waste of gas, money, and time. Will never go back.

I go here for the liver and onions, mainly. I have never had a bad meal here. The sides are always delicious

I usually purchase the veggie platter, which is not bad. The mac n cheese could be much better. My mom had the barbecue ribs which she said wasn't bad. However, the potato salad was Not Good at all. My mother makes great potato salad and if Levi's is looking to get more customers my mom potato salad will have people coming in just for that one item. Levi's contact me if your willing to try it on your menu.

DINNER FROM HELL!  Today my wife and I stopped by to get some dinner and while we were waiting we noticed the employees having fun and joking around.  A friend off the street came in and the worker fixed the guy a plate of food and handed it over the hot bar and continued to give this person handshakes and returned to fix food for the customers without washing his hands or putting on gloves.  We noticed the handshakes before, during and after and while a few customers spoke to us about this activity we requested to see the manager.  The manager was not in at the time and the cashier seen in the picture indicated that she is the manager on duty. The other customer and I voiced our concerns to the manager and the cashier became offensive towards us as if we did something wrong.  The cashier/manager was already upset because she came to work late but instead of dressing the issue she attacked us (the customers).  She went as far as to tell us that she will pray for us because we have the nerve to complain and she can’t stand black people.  Look at her picture and you decide what she is for yourself.  She continue to talk down to my wife and say that instead of complaining we should go home and cook and not come in here starting stuff. Of course my wife spoke to her in a professional manner and said that policies are in place for a reason so if you don’t want to follow the policy then why be here. She responded that she does not care about this place as this is just a part time job and not her main job and she does not have anything to do with this business anyway.  During this time while the cashier/manager on duty continued to argue with the other man and my wife the young man continued to shake other people hands which are his friends and this so called manager does nothing but badger us as we walk out.  I said that I will post my review of this event and she stated that people post reviews all the time and it does not mean a thing to the business and definitely does not affect her.  The man calmly stated that unless you address the issue with the worker they will not realize the mistakes they are making and the manager did not respond directly to the man, basically ignoring him. After he gather his food and proceeded to walk out she said that she will be glad when everybody leave because she refuse to let people ruin her day.  If I was purchasing for myself I would have walked out a long time ago.  Because I was also getting food for an elderly lady I decided to make the purchase.  However I did vow that I will not return to this establishment ever again.  Unless I hear from the real management my complaint to the health department will move forward for unsafe practice which could possibly put innocent people in jeopardy. The manager was arrogant enough to spell her name for my wife however I just wanted to get out of there because she wasn't worth it.
