I don't usually write reviews, but felt compelled to provide one after my experience with Ms. Aloma Jackson and the team at Flats 170. Generally, communicating with property managers can be stressful. At times, you unsure if your requests will be honored, and, in a timely manner. However, Ms. Jackson provided great customer service. Never had real issues while staying there, but when I had questions, the customer service was very professional. The property is beautiful and they do a amazing job keeping the grounds beautiful. I highly recommend people check out Flats 170 at Academy yards for themselves.

We’ve lived here for just over 1year.me and my daughters love it here! Office team crew is awesome especially Kimberly she is very helpful and kind.The GYM, swimming pool, theatre and Our building are maintained well. Our maintenance crew is awesome too. They respond quickly and take care of our needs.

Flats170 has been a great experience of an apartment community! Haven’t lived here very long but the neighborhood is nestled in a quiet area, next to a police station and very close to the Fort Meade Army base so it feels very safe as well. The premises are always clean and neighbors are considerate of each other. Ayana, the leasing consultant, Aloma, the property manager and Antonio, the maintenance manager have all been very accommodating and extremely helpful since day 1. Everyone else who works for the community have also been friendly! Any concerns that I’ve had have all been addressed right away and it helps that they’re super communicative and personable. Coming from an apartment that was the complete opposite and a nightmare of an experience, this has been a breath of fresh air. I’ve recommended the community to a friend already and will continue to do so! Definitely 10/10 recommend.

Living here has been great so far. I am close to work as well as shopping and dining. I will say that the packages could be done a little differently as to not create hassles for the residents, but I know the office has no control over how the different delivery services run their companies. As for the office staff, Ayana was very kind and also helpful when I came down. Max was very patient and understanding when I interacted with him. I haven’t had very many interactions with the managers except for a nice hello or good morning whenever I’ve walked by. So far I haven’t had any needed to personally see them as I am very happy here at Flats 170. Maintenance has also been quick and thorough when I’ve needed things fixed inside my apartment. Thank you Flats 170 staff and fellow residents for making this a nice place to live.
