Currently take out only with limited hours but has some of the best fried shrimp I've ever had- fast service at a reasonable price point for the quality of the food

I went for the wing dinner plate that is not cheap which I've had before. This time they did not serve whole wings. Honestly, the wings were disgusting. The were refried and salty. The greens yuk! So dissapointing for a so-called black restaurant. Do better or close your doors!

HUGE portions, the plate itself was good. A 7.5, the crab cake was meaty and good but a little over done. The shrimp, whiting, and collards we’re on point. Once again the streets LOVING them portions💪🏾

This is my spot! The nice people who run this legendary seafood and chicken shop always make me feel like a regular (and I am). I enjoy going there not just for the food, but to see how everybody's doing, because I feel my food is made by people who care about what they do. I am not sure if it is just me, but I think this is location is becoming as special as the local favorite off H Street. The food is comforting and something you enjoy as you chill talking to one of your good friends or on lunch break with your co-worker.

Addictive Fried Fish! You have to add the hot sauce as well!
