The security guard was friendly and helpful. However, the staff didn’t know how to access their digital service, so that I need to redo the application. This is not the worst, she was quite impatient and interrupted me talking.

Staff was pleasant, but it's typical government lack of efficiency. I'm trying to help my mother with her SS and we got nowhere, yet again.

It's a government institution so you probably already know it's going to be poorly run. I recommend you set aside an hour longer than you think it will take. The guard was helpful in answering my questions though. Definitely not a fun place to go, but serviceable if you have social security needs.

I just have to say I had the most wonderful experience at this office. I believe her name was Ms. and she could not have been more helpful. The guard whose name I wish I knew was so nice and even when people asked questions like can I sit there? When a sign that said no sitting there was up, was gracious. I was expecting a painful experience today and I left feeling comforted and happy. Thank you!

How do I setup an appointment to meet with someone in Waltham office?
Can I get an appointment to bring an application to Social Security in Waltham on Beaver Stree
How do I set up an appointment in the Waltham social security office?
Your best bet is to call the main office number. When you do. One of the options you can ask for is changing direct deposit information. Waltham and other small sites never answer phone calls. Best regards
Besure to bring plenty of identification with you!!
Yes you are better off going therr in person and bring marriage certificate and death certificate
135 Beaver Street , Waltham is the location
You have to call them and make an appointment
You can walk in now they take walk-ins just make sure that is your Social Security office cuz I live close to it and they tell me I have to go to Cambridge
I guess start the application on their website and declare that tou are a legal refugee. Then you can walk in to the Walthan SSA office.
You can call, but you can also just walk in. If you go early there might be no queue.
Only to those with appointments. (Specific locations) We went and the officer told us we needed to call. Everything is through phone. He said their offices are closed for good.
You can call the office as all social security offices are closed to the public or open by appointment only or go online and do it that way. Hope this answer helps you
They have a dedicated number, usually respond very quickly; only in office hours. You can give a try. They are good people, they will guide you
Neither, you have 2 call on phone. The office is closed with a sign and phone number telling you where 2 call. I personally went there. I also know how you feel. I have been trying 2 resolve an issue for 3 months. Still no answer. It's awful that a person is left hanging with no answers.
They prefer you go to your local office but they usually won't kick you out! Lol
Use the website www.ssa.gov
Any visit with no appointment you Will wait
Name change document and ID visit local office
You can call them during their business hours from 9am to 5pm or go to them right when they open.
In Waltham there is a machine on the left, as you walk in the door, that spits out a ticket with a number to get you into the que.
9-4 mon, tues, thurs, fri 9-12 wed. Take a number and have ur state issued id
You can either call them with their direct phone number or go to them in the morning right when they open up at 9am
I believe it is possible. The norm is to show up, go to a computer console and pick a deli style number from either the appointment queue or a walk in queue. The appointment queue goes faster.
To visit or talk to live person Monday thru Friday From 9am to 5pm. Except on Wednesdays Office closed at 12noon Closed on all major holidays. You can visit SS at anytime online to review anything about what you need or already have.
No closed on the 24th

No appt needed but there may be a wait
You can request an appointment call the national 800#
Yes. You can walk-in as well, provided you have all the documentation. Arrive early 15 minutes before opening to be seen quickly.
no
You have to call the 800 #, good luck, it nay be 2 months to get one. Or you can chance it & get there 1st thing in the morning and maybe wait awhile. I was on the phone for 55 minutes to get an apot in Sept, so a few weeks ago I waited ay the office over 2 hrs. Go 1ST thing in the AM
Must order in person and provide sufficient documents to prove you are you. Look up documents accepted prior to going to office. Recommend showing up 15 minutes prior to office opening. Card will be mailed to your home address. Generally takes 5-10 days to arrive.
No you don't have too its walk in service too it goes by numbers
Social Security is not open on Saturday’s
You can just show up when You go in you sign in at machine
Your card will arrive in the mail in approximately 10-14 days (oftentimes sooner) after you applied for your new or replacement Social Security Card. You can wait on the card to arrive, or schedule another appointment with the Social Security Office to have them provide you with your number (with proper documentation).
