Always a beautiful place to visit. I love seeing that they have plans to continue to improve it.

Always beautiful but especially in spring when everything is in bloom. Immaculately maintained, easily accessible walkways.

What an absolutely beautiful place to walk around. The rhodedendrons are in full bloom right now so it was the perfect time to visit. The landscaping here is exquisite and there is seating scattered throughout the park to sit and really take it all in. Highly recommended.

Great park with quiet and peaceful trails nestled in the redwoods. The Rhododendron garden and native plant garden do not allow dogs so make sure you leave the pups at home if you want to check out those gardens. Plus the little picnic area is simply gorgeous. Definitely wedding ceremony worthy for a smaller wedding.

I'm not sure. You could call park and rec and ask. If not they could tell you which ones.

Could someone hold a small wedding ceremony at this park? If so would it cost anything?

Rick Shannep | Jun 27, 2020

I don't see why not, and it shouldn't cost anything. I don't see why you would even need to apply or register or anything like that…it is a public space, and big enough that nobody would even notice as long as it was left clean. You could also rent a campsite for a few bucks. Some are quite isolated.

Are the rhododenrons blooming in the park yet? If not, when would be the prime time to visit this year?

A couple weeks should be starting to bloom good

Are there spots for bbqing?

Eric Weimar | Jun 28, 2018

There's a small pavilion just down from the main parking area. I haven't seen any spots setup for BBQ to be done, but I'm sure if you bring one of those small table top/hibachi type units you should be fine. Be careful about burn bans
