Checked in for 4 nights. Twice we had to get our from keys re-coded because they turned them off. Great location. Or room had a balcony and a profile view of Mt. Rushmore. We had a small suite with kitchenette, microwave, fridge, pull out couch which we didn't need. And, counting the bathroom, it had 3 sinks.

We stayed on the 2nd floor our room was very very small. We asked for a view but we got a wall of rocks, if it wasn't for the double rainbow with the rain yesterday it would have sucked all the way around. 6 inches of the bed frame sticking out could easily stub your leg and mess yourself up. Breakfast was bagels muffins and pancakes, yogurt and I saw some apples. Mainly carbs. And did I mention the rooms were small! Funky smell through the hallways

Positive: From our balcony you could see Mt Rushmore and the entire view was nice. The location was good. Negative: The breakfast was not as good as expected. For over $--- a night I expected a full breakfast. They basically had all breads and carbs. No meat or eggs. Pancakes toast bagels muffins cereals and yogurt. It was a disappointment. The coffee was good.

We booked this location for a weekend trip with our children. We drove up to the hotel, only to find a note on the door saying they are closed and to proceed to the Ramada next door. Well, the Ramada was a lot smaller/cheap looking compared to what we had booked. And there was no breakfast, but somehow it was the same price. They also didn't apologize or explain why no one from the hotel contacted me about this change. They had my reservation on the computer... So they knew I was coming but for the Baymont location. No one apologized or offered any compensation. I'm really disappointed. So definitely 1 star since I didn't even get to stay there and no bothered to inform me that my reservation for a hotel was moved to a motel!

They are a pet friendly hotel prior to your reservation contact the hotel your reservation is at and tell them about your allegeries they will prepare your room accordingly. As it is aganist the disability act to not allow assistive animals in non pet friendly hotels. The Ramada in Keystone is a non pet friendly hotel and have allowed assistive animals however will clean the room by changing out all linen and shampooing carpets after a stay with a guest who has an assistive animal.
They advertise pet friendly so most were probably not service dogs
