If you love seafood, definitely come here. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The seafood platter was worth every dollar, everything was chilled and served well. The Halibut, The King Salmon, The Seafood Chowder, and The Crab Melt were ordered as well, and everything was excellent. The manager was super friendly and accommodating. Don’t come here expecting food to be done in 10 minutes, they take their time cooking and it shows. Great for sitting down and talking the day away. Great view of the river as well in certain tables, but the area with the best views are always full and noisy, so if you prefer being away from big crowds, opt for tables away from the main view. Will definitely come again!

Beautiful view of the Columbia River on north marine drive in Portland. Great seafood choices. Indoor and outdoor seating on two levels- plus bar seating and giant windows to enjoy the boats on the water. Everything on the menu is delicious- priced accordingly but not unfairly. Upscale but relaxed atmosphere. Valet parking. Wonderful but very pricey cocktail menu.

Went here for dinner Friday night, with my son and his lady. The restaurant was busy, but we were sat promptly at our 7:15pm reservation. Danny was our server and he did an amazing job of making sure our glasses were full and making it a great experience for those with me that had not been before. The food came out in a timely fashion and was cooked perfect! We had Ahi, Halibut, Fish Tacos and Dungeness crab legs. And two amazing desserts!

Wow what an amazing experience! All the staff were extremely nice finish to start. The host our waiter Drew was exceptional! The food STUPENDOUS! The fish tacos absolutely mouthwatering and delicious! The alcohol menu endless! The fish and chips… absolutely worldly and tasty! I highly recommend this restaurant! Also lastly the kitchen is visible as soon as you enter the restaurant and the kitchen is extremely clean! Definitely a 5 Star restaurant! You Must try!

No elevator. When making reservation, ask for "no stairs" and (in my experience) they will seat on main floor and also try for window seat. Alas, the bar is upstairs. The stairs wind up and to left. Means on right each stair is longer and feels less steep.

What are the Covid safety practices like here?

Salty's on the Columbia River (Owner) | Feb 27, 2021

We have all safety protocols in place and are compliant with all governed regulations. All of our staff members wear masks at all times, frequently wash their hands and stay 6 feet apart. Every employee is temperature tested and given a series of health questions to answer before being allowed in the building. Our tables are 6 feet apart and disinfected between guests. We have heated, outdoor, glass-like tents on our patios with excellent ventilation. Now that indoor dining is returning this Friday, I will add we have had an HVAC cleaning and high quality air filters installed to help keep you and our staff safe. Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the building as well. We do require that all guests wear a mask at all times, with the only exception being when you are seated at your table and enjoying our delicious cuisine and cocktails!
