I filled out an application to adopt a cat over a month ago. I spoke with both Steph and Ashley about cats that would meet my criteria that i would like to meet and they tell me that those cats don't meet my criteria even though I know they did or I would not have bothered to ask to meet them. Ashley and Steph tell me that they are both working on finding me the perfect cat and that my preferences and my personal information are on a board and would get top priority. We'll that was a month ago and the cats I inquired about are still there and they have NOT called me once about a cat. All I want is a friendly lap cat. I dont think I'm asking that much. The last time I called I talked to Krystal who said what the others said. I JUST WANT A CAT., Also customer service is terrible, all you get when you call is an answering machine with prompts in which to leave a message. DONT BOTHER LEAVING A MESSAGE, THEY WONT CALL YOU BACK. There needs to be someone in charge that I can talk to over there about the hassle I'm getting in being able to adopt a cat. Thanks for listening Betty Shea

I had a good experience I don't remember her name, but she has worked there for 13 years oh, and she was excellent sadly I could not take a spa specific cat home, unfortunately I could not take this one home it was just too young. Just waiting for the right one to come along. That day will come

A very clean shelter with incredibly compassionate and professional staff that genuinely care for the animals and are attentive to their needs. The busy staff deserve tremendous thanks for all their hard work. We unfortunately had to surrender our two cats to LHS, at a very difficult time for our family. The staff did everything they could to ease the process for the cats and for us. They answered all our questions and went above and beyond in reviewing all the information we provided to them and learning how to take care of the cats. We are so incredibly grateful for their efforts.

You would have to call or view online. The animals for rescue change constantly.
Try the cat mobile .. look it up online to see when it comes to your area. It's about $80
Check their website or Petango.
IS there a local pick up service for my cat having trouble in house to put in carrier in LOWELL house leaving on a trip soon help.
Call them immediately. I believe they're open until 4pm today or 12-2 on Sundays. If they're unable to help or don't have traps available, there are many rescues around that do. You can try Billerica Cat Coalition or Kitty Angels in Tyngsboro. My guess is theyll know someone locally who will want to get them in before winter. You didn't specify what town you were in, but different shelters have specific "coverage areas" so please call Lowell Humane today and thank you for taking the time to help the kittens and their mother. You've got good Karma coming.
They have lots of room and are always there to take animals and give them a good home. They will quarantine animals multiple times and try to rehome them as much as possible. They are not a kill shelter unless the animal is absolutely dangerous after being quarantined multiple times
Go to Savers if you want to check out some leashes and colars... But beyond that you can go to Walmart for low cost supplies
You can see all animals available on their website :)
I belive you can just drop her off there. But I would call just to make sure. Not sure about prices.
Please call the shelter at 978-452-7781 to make an appointnet.
They actually have all kinds of animals but due to their type of business they always get new pets and people adopt them. So you have to go see them to see what they have at the time. Talk to Crystal, she's the manager.
I'm not sure u have to call everything is by appointment tho
I actually don't know. I adopted a cat from them recently but we didn't talk about other services.
You have to make appointment first
Well if you want a great place to get a fur baby than I would suggest the humane society I love my cat and she makes my heart fulfilled I hope I helped
Call them and ask. Here we are volunteers from the community. They are great people but like all humane societies they want people to understand caring for pets is a long term commitment. Caring for a dog or cat properly has costs. Neutering a dog is a small part of lifetime costs
No. There is always a fee to adopt.
This connects to local volunteer guides not to the humane society call them in the morning. If not gizmo they have great cats.
I believe generally yes but it may depend on the dog and whether they have space. We are local guides and not working there. Call them and discuss.
Not sure about the age but I volunteered there in high school (under 18). If you look on their events page on Facebook they usually host volunteer orientations once a month
They do
I don't see why not but if you want to be 💯 call them 💞
Occasionally, they have puppies but there are more dogs over age 2. Although puppies are very cute, I suggest giving a more senior dog a second chance. They are usually trained and very friendly. Sadly, most of them are very lonely.
I was told they were another kill shelter in less the animal shelter and the pet in guestion is not able to be saved I do know that I asked guestion s and was told they only keep them a certian amount of time and they ship them to a bigger shelter in our region and state I hope that this helped you but that is the information I was told and if you are interested in a animal that was shipped to another shelter they should have a record of the move and if the animal is still up for adoption allso. Believe. They need to exercise there cats a bit more and clean all of them up a bit more speaking of the Lowell humain society maybe need more volunteers to help like I said hope this was helpful Doreen
There is a fee. It is to help of set the cost of care and to keep the shelter running. Worth every bit!
They close early today. Try Sunday noon
I paid about $125 2 years ago. She came with all shots up to date, microchip, and a bag of food. Great place.
I believe most shelters are run on donation. You can try the humane society, give them a call. There are msny funds available from non profit groups. If they can't help you try thr MSPCA in Methuen
I would call them directly. This is more for the public to ask and answer questions.
Yes
Kittens go within a day or two of being posted and they only get them occasionally. The fee is $200 each. Animals for adoption and current fees are on their website.
I believe you can if you are trying to trap and release feral cats. The humane society usually has some kind of program or rescue groups that do this. You can contact the MSPCA in Methuen. Not sure if they do it from thr Lowell one. If its a wild animal you can contact a professional wildlife trapping company or the local Animal Control Officer
Try Danvers animal hospital. They are really reasonable
L have two great cat lost Dublin dog after sixteen yrs looking for a small breed 🐕
They will. Call them and they will send someone out to get it.
Sometimes they do. You would likely do best to call and check.
The website has pics of available cats.
The money is used to pay to spay/neuter and care for animals with medical needs, and who are not adopted quickly. And donations aren't enough for all the expenses.
I suggest you call the humane society. They can give you good advice.
They won't. They're a no kill shelter. They'll find her a home. And they'll understand.
