Positive: Easy to access. Close to town. Negative: Could have been cleaner. Needs some TLC. Old paint. Crummy wall repairs and scratches. Cigarette burns on tub. Not attractive, but serviceable. Poor quality bed. But we were exhausted so we slept fine.

Positive: Staff was welcoming and friendly. Coffee is available as you check in. The breakfast is amazing. So many choices. sausage patties,cheese omlettes; hard boiled eggs and waffles and several cereals and lots of breads and roles and muffins. Fruit Yoghurt Negative: Beds are high off floor for a bit of a climb up. Not sure if I liked that or not.

It’s located in a beautiful location and I am sure there are some nice rooms, but our experience was that the hotel was hard to find. There’s construction going on. Pool is ice cold. Jacuzzi is not working and the rooms are just ok. The breakfast wasn’t what people raved about. A lot of traffic in the area. And I was happy to get out of there.

Positive: Overall the hotel was great. Location, access to the freeway, were great. Check in was quick and easy. The room was nice and clean. Parking was also easy as there are plenty of places to park. Negative: Check out at 11am instead of noon.

Yes, they have rooms with an area at the entry of the room with tile for food and water bowls. There is an area in the back with clear indication for dogs with dog bag dispensers.
Always call to check reservations when possible. If there are issues, you want a change or have questions there are people paid to make sure you are taken care of. That is my recommendation. Plus, that is the only way to get hook-ups and deals after the fact. Only the initial deal is usually better online during purchase, there are exceptions of course.
if you leave the parking lot going towards the left, and you go over the highway, you are actually in downtown San Juan Capistrano. It's probably a five min drive.
