Lue was very helpful right off the bat when I called. To see what they had for fly combo set up’s, and right away he listed off a few of there products. So I went to the shop to find a vast verity of fly gear and everything else that goes along with fishing. He helped me pick out the orvis encounter 9’ 5wt and can’t wait to try he also talked to me about leaders and waits. Even offered to assist me on the weekends! Awesome place great guy will definitely be a frequent visitor!

Awesome, homey little fly shop. Unpretentious and helpful, and definitely helped to get me on my feet when I first began fly fishing. Great assortment of tackle and accessories. It's only a short drive from UConn, as well as some really incredible fishing holes. The staff at JT always can recommend some awesome public/state parks for some absolutely pristine fishing.
