We just stayed here for six nights and could barely get the housekeeping in our room ONE time for a cleaning. Even after we were promised a “refresh” no one showed up after we spent all day out of the room to give them ample time. When we got back and called the front desk no one cared. They acted annoyed we even asked for clean towels. We are traveling with our four kids and the room has a kitchen. Imagine not being able to sweep your kitchen for four days? It was gross and at one point we had to ask for our own brooms and cleaning supplies because the hotel was “short staffed”. I understand things like this do happen but paying full-price for this experience was miserable. The cheapest toilet paper I’ve ever experienced in my life, dismal water pressure in the shower and overall lackluster service or desire to improve our experience. I’d recommend you skip.

We stayed in a kind bed studio suite and it was great for our little family. We brought our baby and put his pack n play in the living/kitchen area for sleeping. The kitchen had the basics you’d need to cook with. The front desk can provide you with dish soap and a sponge, FYI. Bed was comfy, hotel was quiet, and the front desk was accommodating anytime we needed something. You do have to pay for parking ($16/day when we went). Biggest downside was the complementary breakfast. I thought they’d at least have a pancake/waffle station. Also, there is a train near the hotel so you can hear the horn when it passes. Overall good bang for our buck. And great location.

Amazing place, this is a pet friendly hotel with many great amenities such as Landry machines, a workout room, pool, basketball half court, and putting area. This is also a walking distance from Costco and a few minute drive from Trader Joe’s. Many beaches near by I would recommend the state park but it is rocky you could also try Aliso beach Park bigger waves there. Most rooms have a full size fridge, dishwasher, and stove. The staff are amazing and if you ask you can get waffles on the weekends for breakfast otherwise they have a small buffet during weekdays. P.S: There is a train the comes by often and has a loud horn:).

I was told by Hope at the front desk that the hotel was completely sold out after asking for one additional hour to check out. I had to spend extra time doing laundry after the old and dirty iron provided in the room stained my clothes. I then asked Collin at the front desk for the additional hour, and he provided it with no problems or issues. He also confirmed that the hotel was not sold out and that my room was in fact available. I did not appreciate the original misinformation aimed at forcing me out by 12:00 p.m. instead of 1:00 p.m. It caused a lot of unnecessary hassle and pressure. I expected better treatment, specially as a long standing Marriott Rewards member. Honesty should always be the best policy! Not worth the 25,000 rewards points!
