We were very pleased with out stay at this Country inn & Suites in the Williamsburg Historic district. The staff was very helpful and friendly and helped make our stay a pleasant one. Our room on the third floor was very quiet and clean for the most part but nothing major that changed our overall opinion of the hotel. We came with the understanding that the pool was not available and that this was an older property. I give kudos to the staff for staying cool and pleasant even though some of the guests were rather rude. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting the historic district in Williamsburg.

I made the reservation for our stay two months in advance, but when we arrived we were informed that the pool, hot tub, and exercise room were all closed. This was known by the hotel far in advance of our arrival, but we were not informed until we checked in. I also needed Internet service for my job and that was down for the better part of two days. I was given a number to call for tech support which left me going in circles with no resolution. Then, at 11:30 p.m. (we were asleep) we received a phone call from the front desk giving us a different number which also proved completely fruitless. The next morning, I noticed the danish I had from the free breakfast bar had mold on it. There was zero room service and I found myself gathering up all of our towels and trash every morning, searching for someone to give it to. We stayed at this location three years ago and had a great experience, but never again. If you want a pleasant, stress free vacation, stay far away from this hotel.

The staff was awesome; desk attendant checked on room to ensure it was finished which was very professional as she provided an early check-in. The inside is slightly dated; there were no pool towels along with some puddles in the main hallway due to condensation. Be careful. The breakfast was a light continental with waffles for the kiddies. Otherwise, it was an uneventful stay which was perfect.

The beds were comfy and looked clean. Room was warm and you could change the temperature. Breakfast was okay. Hotel smelled nice and clean. The shower did not look clean and neither was the sink. Random pieces of tape on walls and the outlets were loose. Curtains had stains on them. WiFi was bad and connection for the tv was poor. Random hole in the wall.
