So I will start off by saying the pesto crab dip is quite good; very rich and thick and the pita chips that come with it are great. We ordered the Red, White, and Blue Plate and the Blue Plate. To be honest, the entrees were incredibly bland. It seemed like they wanted the ingredients to speak for themselves, and they did not say much. The crab cake tasted like an old pool towel. The mashed potatoes were okay; they were sweet which I was not expecting. The bread tasted like pizza crust for some reason. The salmon was bland and boring. The scallops were just scallops, the same with the shrimp. The Oysters Rockefeller taste like a spinach frittata. Maybe it’s because I’m a huge seafood fan, or maybe it’s because the restaurant is in Williamsburg. I wanted so much to enjoy the food but I was honestly let down.

Outstanding Seafood and service! It's perfect for a special occasion. We celebrated our anniversary here. The food and ambience are amazing! Also highly recommend the cobbler! It's perfect place to have dinner and take a leisurely stroll around the shops and through the gorgeous town of Williamsburg, VA. If you are traveling to Williamsburg, I would highly recommend.

We've been here twice without reservations and have sat and eaten at the bar. The bartender is attentive and engaging. She has a wealth of information about the restaurant, different alcohols or the town - just ask her something! The $1 oysters are wonderful. My guy came in for a beer and some oysters, but we ended up staying and having dinner. The food is delicious and the service is even better. So glad we found this place!

We were visiting the Williamsburg area for the day and decided to stop in at Berret’s Seafood Restaurant and Taphouse Grill. It was out first time here and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious. The service was awesome. Andrew did a wonderful job! I definitely recommend this spot.
