Cozy cute cabins, pooch in heaven. Son slept upstairs I slept futon. Comfortable just really cold, better in summer. Had fantastic shower. Kitchen had what we needed. Good location short walk to beach. Deer everywhere.

We're in cabin 5 and there is no comfortable seating ... 2 chairs feel like they will break at anytime and the sofa is so uncomfortable ... very clean and lovely cabin but needs more comfortable safe seating ... extremely disappointing

We stayed on 04/30 - 05/02 and absolutely loved this place!! So welcoming, so warm and homey, it made us feel like we were actually in the comfort of our own home. All the greatest amenities and plenty of updated features!! Very clean and well taken care of!

Not a bad experience exactly, but certainly not that comfortable. Check-in was easy. They emailed the keybox code and it worked fine. The floor, while very pretty, was very slippery even when dry so be careful when you first walk in with shoes on. The unit it 2 floors, the bottom being a living room, kitchen, bathroom. Very steep, tall, and loud stairs lead to the 2nd level with just a bed and 2 nightstands. The bed was comfy enough, though I wish the tv was up there as a place to hang out because the couch downstairs was cheap, very small, and uncomfy. We only had 2 people (in a space that allows up to 4) and it was cramped but doable. I would never bring 4, especially not children/dogs with the stairs being so steep and the steps so tall and with giant gaps between steps. The steps were so loud and creaky, but they did look pretty cool. Adults and older kids would do ok but it really was a chore getting up and down, especially in the night or early in the morning. I assume due to space, they elected to use a basket as a coffee table, which stores all the pullout couch's sheets and things but because of the basket weave, you cant put a cup on it without spilling, and the unit is too small to have side tables so we just set them on the floor. The couch was bad - small, not very cozy, and the pullout function was very hard/uncomfy. The couch is also very far away from the small-ish tv. The size of the tv would be fine if the couch was closer, which due to the space constraints is likely not possible. The whole unit has dimmer switches for each area which we thought was a nice touch until we tried to use them and they all flickered throughout the stay, especially if you try to use the microwave. There is also wifi included which was great when it worked but we never made it through a whole movie without getting kicked off the wifi for a least 10 mins or so before the tv reconnected. The kitchen and bathroom are pretty nice and modern. The bathroom was pretty and functional. I really enjoyed it, the giant mirror and shower. If you plan to cook much make sure you bring oil, etc because they provide just the cookwear/dishes, etc which was fine. Several of our drinks froze in the fridge so it's certainly cold. There's a grocery store nearby (Ocean Shores IGA) where we were able to stock up on the essentials and some tasty treats from the bakery area. Unit was very walkable to much of the city, though as we explored, just about every stay is so you could get a hotel right in the middle of things for a similar price and maybe get breakfast included? I'd find a comfier spot next time but this was fine for the price. The bed was nice/comfy so if you plan to play at the beach all day and just need somewhere to sleep this is fine. If you plan to have much down time I would probably stay somewhere more comfortable. Looks like many reviewers really love this place, which is why i chose it. It wasn't really for me, but maybe you'll love it! Hopefully my experience will help you understand the accommodation. =================================================== Regarding Ocean Shores in general (not reflected in this review score, but as an FYI), the beach is of course why people go there. There was really bad rain our whole stay so we didn't get to the beach much and there is not a ton to do otherwise. You can explore dozens gift shops that sell a variety from tacky gift shop stuff to nice mementos. There are several restaurants, many of which are very good, and a few were just ok. Look up reviews/menus/whether reservations are required before you go. Also much of the town shuts down by 8 if not earlier so keep that in mind for your adventure.

Questions & Answers

I have a brand new car and I want a safe place to park it. Where exactly is the parking for Sea Breeze Cottages? Can you drive in and park right next to your unit?

They have specific parking spots right next to each cottage. It's pretty secure I would feel comfortable with a new car parking here.

Useless place if you rely on the Internet at all. The Netflix won’t even work because the Internet is so weak. I assume they are sharing it between the 8 cabins here? A joke and a waste - I came out here to work at the beach.

Dear guests, there is only a 20 mgb speed available in ocean shores as the fastest possible option, which is what we have. The signal also varies with weather conditions. We have the fastest possible connection available in ocean shores
