Our family experience at Lifeskills was extremely positive. I believe that Dr. Nicolle is an exceptionally talented therapist. Both she and Dr. Daron were very effective at what they do and the communication with family was stellar. I am hopeful for the first time in years that our precious loved one is on a solid path to recovery. I would recommend Lifeskills without hesitation and am very grateful for their assistance during a very difficult time.

Edit (8/22/22): Thank you LifeSkills for your victim blaming response. Maybe the marketing department should take some groups. Terrible experience. If you want to be harassed, abused, lied to, gaslit, and even traumatized, go to LifeSkills of south Florida. For example, this is how meds are distributed: each patient gets a plastic bag with meds. While I was there, for over 5 months, numerous other clients received incorrect doses, wrong meds, other clients meds, etc. Not only is this incredibly dangerous but it’s a lawsuit that will be coming. They have staff that verbally abuse clients, grievance reports “get lost” and their marketing department is better than their medical department. Gus is by far one of the worst human experiences I have had in the mental health industry. He should not work in the medical field nor should rehabilitation centers allow people like him. Lisa is known to be rude, cold, and shows zero compassion, empathy, or sympathy for any circumstances that clients may have. They lock you up in their run down facility. This is a catch all for mental health conditions, not a specialized center. You will get the bare minimum help at this rehab. Almost every client within 2 days wants to AMA (leave against medical advice) and many are “trapped” by hostile negotiation tactics between guardians and life skills. Do not go here. They will take your money, screw you over and leave you worse off than when you came. Also, their php program is complete BS.

When I arrived at LifeSkills, I was nervous and ready for change. Upon arriving, the admissions team made me feel comfortable and tech, Celena, was amazing. For several months, I worked hard and I leave now feeling more confident and ready for the journey that lies ahead. A special thanks to, Dr. Marie, for always being there.
