I have spent nearly $5,000 with Chet's for termite treatment in the last year. On their last treatment (they contracted it out to another company- it was not done in-house), they completed the tenting. When removing the tent, they damaged a vent stack on my roof. Instead of telling anyone, they just stuck it back in again and left it. They said nothing to no one. This is all according to the pro roofer I asked to fix it. Of course, it then leaked inside, staining the ceiling. When my roofer saw it, he told me what had happened and charged me over $1300 to fix it. Before you get services from Chet's, you must sign a release of liability for ANY damage, so they won't pay for the roof repair. When I notified them, they just said they would talk with their workers, and that the shingles looked old. The roof was just given a full inspection by my insurance company and passed with flying colors. No apology, no concern, no nothing. Nope, never again.

I purchased my home 13 years ago and have worked constantly to keep it very clean and in excellent repair. I've always had a "bug man" for the interior of my home and don't have any issues there but for the past several years, we have seasonally struggled with carpenter ants. I am blessed to have two precious toddler grandchildren that I keep several days a week. We spend a great deal of the time playing outdoors. This year the ants were present in the thousands covering our back patio and the entire perimeter of our house. We tried everything to get rid of them including a toxic concoction of bleach and muriatic husband my husband spread over the patio. Nothing worked! They continued to multiply and carry on their activities without interruption. We were distraught! I felt as though my home had been taken over. We actually brought up the situation at Bible Study and I prayed and asked God for help. The next morning I surfed the web looking for direction. Several exterminator companies came up but after reading some of the reviews, I placed a call to Chet's. From the initial contact and throughout the entire process, we've been treated with exceptional courtesy, patience, promptness and professionalism. Each person that we've made contact with has shown exemplary kindness and stellar customer service. We were able to get an appointment within 24 hours from placing the first call and the technician (John) that came out was beyond wonderful. He took the time to really inspect everything and educate us along the way. We asked for him to apply the treatment and he spent almost 3 hours meticulously ensuring that he was thorough. The ants were gone within 36 hours of the treatment!!! No trace of them, no stragglers! I am beyond satisfied and will sing the praises of this company forever. I've already shared my story with many of my friends and family. Thank you Chet's for your standard of excellence.

Their products work, period! When we moved we tried another service and within a month or two I called Chet’s Pest and asked them to come fix the infestation issues we encountered. The service rep who takes care of our property is exceptional - very courteous and professional and always on time! Impeccable service - Love it!!

We've been using Chet's for over a year now, as they were recommended by the previous owners & I highly recommend. They are beyond helpful, efficient, friendly and timely. Frank is great & gets the job done. Chets comes by every two months to do routine exterminations and we also have used them for termite tenting.

The restaurant industry, like the pest population in an ecosystem, is never stagnant. Food establishments are constantly faced with succession of colonies and generations of pests at their doorsteps.
Commercial pest control is crucial in maintaining healthy and safe environments. Professionals such as Chet's Termite & Pest Management, Inc. are trained to identify potential problems that may be present within your commercial property and provide eco-friendly solutions tailored to your individual needs.
It can be, but we at Chet's Termite & Pest Management feel that the following questions are extremely important for any future pest control technician to know before signing on.
Insecticides are hazardous to any animal if contact is made or eaten. We recommend keeping dogs out of areas being treated by professional termite and pest management technicians or keep them on a leash at all times.
Of course, you can have pest preventive treatment done and mopping the same day.
If you're looking for a pest control company or professional in the area, look no further than Chet's Termite & Pest Management, Inc. who will not only rid your property of pests but also offer rigorous protection and management to keep them away.
Yes, it's worth the investment. A home is typically the most valuable asset people own and spend more time in than any other place. It only makes sense to protect this valuable piece of property with our complete line of products from termite inspections to termite control.
At Chet's Termite & Pest Management, Inc., we are dedicated to providing the best pest control service in the industry. Because pest control is a science, our professional technicians are here to help you get rid of those unwelcome pests quickly and safely.
Yes. We use natural chemicals and traps to keep pests out of your home.
Pest Control can vary from a few months to even up to two years. It all depends on where the infestation occurs, and how severe it is. We have seen plenty of cases in which pest control service lasts for a year or even two, but other times we need to return monthly just to keep the problem at bay.
When you make the wise decision to choose Chet's...we will give you the best guarantees in the business. 2 year money back guarantee on Tent Fumigation for Drywood Termites and 5 year (yes, that's right) money back guarantee for Subterranean Termite treatment. **Annual renews must be paid and up to date in order to offer these unheard of guarantees.** Ask our team to show you the actual checks we're written honoring our guarantee!!
Sorry. We do not offer pest control services for rental apartment complexes. Check with your onsite property manager for details as most managed facilities have their own pest control company.
Good Morning Doreen. We'd love the opportunity to visit your home for a free inspection to determine if there is a termite issue. We do offer a 3 payment plan on termite work, however, a credit card or post dated checks need to accompany the agreement. Please call our office at 813-935-7554 to schedule your free inspection. Many Thanks Carol
As everyone is saying, it depends on the square footage of the house and the type of termites. Just be sure to use Chets to eliminate the problem. Always outstanding in customer service! They are the very best company to control pests.
No normally. We have treated commercial vehicles for roaches, but that's not normally needed for residential customers. We recommend vacuuming daily to remove any live roaches or ants..along with their eggs. That normally takes care of the issue.
Thank you so much for your question. At this time, we do not offer rodent exclusion in our line up of service. We do, however, monitor and place traps on the exterior of the home for our existing customer base. We do have a few referrals for rodent exclusion to our current customers as well as those seeking these services.
We have in the past, however, in our opinion liquid Subterranean Termite Treatments using products from BASF and Bayer are superior to any baiting program available. With most baiting systems, you never own the system and if you cancel the service, they will pull the stations and leave your home unprotected. With a termite barrier treatment, it can't be taken out of the ground if you decide not to continue with the warranty coverage. The soil can be disturbed by morning the soil close to the foundation while landscaping or plumbing repairs. Those areas can easily be retreated. Also with a baiting system, you rely on a really good technician to check all the stations and find all of them that have been covered with grass, mulch, leaves or chewed up by the mower.
Under normal circumstances, tents go up on day 1, come down on day 2 and the home clears for human occupancy on day 3 by 5:30pm. This period is extended a day when starting the process on Friday since Sunday is not a normal working day.
We don’t normally offer 1 time services for pest control...unless it’s a special service for existing clients. German Roaches and many varieties of ants require special attention and more than 1 treatment is required for control. We guarantee our regular services and will come free of charge between services should live buds appear inside the house.
Good Morning Ms Betty...I hope all is well with you this morning. We don't do lawn & ornamental services, but have Michael take a look at the areas when he comes to see you on Tuesday. Maybe there's something he can do while he's there :).
Eugene is absolutely right. We will do a spot treatment for drywood termites if there has not been a swarm...or if you’re in a multi unit dwelling and the other owners will not tent. We do offer spot treatments to our warranty customers as an alternative to tenting at their request. We hope this helps. And thanks Eugene.
All inspections are free. Ask for me, Gene and I'll give you an inspection.
This irritation can happen due to the warning agent (tear gas) introduced prior to the fumigant. The law requires we use the warning agent, letting people and pets know a fumigation is impending. In some cases, the tear gas lingers as it's a bit heavier than the actual fumigant. The quickest, most effective and easiest solution is the open the windows and turn the heat on. That will get the tear gas moving and out within 30 minutes.
