Wish this was a better review but our account slipped through the cracks. I hope they set up an emergency line for their traps. We had a cat locked in a possum trap for almost 5 hours until I had to release the cat when I got home from work. Owners are very nice but we wanted results. I hope you get more from them then we did.

We used another pest company but they just quit showing up. Even after a manager assured us they would come. So we tried Nextgen and they are so responsive and communicate with you and were so thorough and we got the outcome we were hoping for. I haven’t seen a bug since in the house and i haven’t had a single mosquito bite outside! I definitely recommend.

Nextgen has been great, Michael was very helpful in answering any questions when we started our service. We had an issue and they came out the same day and began treating our home immediately. The techs are all friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, great service!

I would like to thank Frankie who came out to my home and personally spoke to me in regards to a situation that occurred, and what can be done in order for it to never happen again. He was respectful and genuinely caring, and even bought my dog some rotisserie chicken in order to build a bond. Nextgen personnel will reach out to you if one has an issue and will go out their way in order to help out. Thus , I am thankful for .

Questions & Answers

Do K9 Bed Bug Inspections Work?

Nextgen Pest Solutions | Aug 21, 2020
Nextgen Pest Solutions | Aug 21, 2020

Yes. Dogs have been used for over 20 years to detect bed bugs. K-9s have a sense of smell over 40 times more powerful than humans so they can pin-point even a single bed bug in a room! The dogs go through months of training to identify the scent of live bed bugs. They are trained to alert at the scent of only live bed bugs and not dead bed bugs. The dogs cannot be cross-trained to smell other insects, drugs, people, etc. This prevents false alerts. The dogs can inspect quickly and efficiently without disturbing the area as a “human” inspector would. The K-9s can cover thousands of square feet in minutes where a person would take days to do a thorough inspection.

Does Your Treatment Process Get Rid of Bed Bug Eggs?

Nextgen Pest Solutions | Aug 21, 2020

Yes, our process kills the bed bugs in all stages of their lifecycle, including their eggs. By getting rid of bed bug eggs we are able to stop the reproduction cycle where it starts and prevent even hard to see eggs from hatching. This completely stops the spread of bed bugs in the affected area.

How Much is a Bed Bug Exterminator?

Nextgen Pest Solutions | Aug 21, 2020
Nextgen Pest Solutions | Aug 21, 2020

A full bed bug removal treatment can cost anywhere between $500 to $1,750 depending on the exact treatment that is needed and the size of the affected area. Getting rid of bed bugs can be more costly than many people anticipate due to how much effort and skill is required to kill ALL the bed bugs in the affected area. We include an initial in-home inspection in our bed bug treatment cost. We provide a free bed bug removal quote by phone right at the outset. During our initial free phone consultation, you will be provided an estimate for our bed bug exterminator service. The cost depends also on the type of treatment needed. Safe chemical treatments are usually less expensive than a heat/steam bed bug treatment. In all cases, a quick phone call to our expert staff can provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision.

Do You Have to Leave the House for Pest Control?

Nextgen Pest Solutions | Aug 21, 2020
Nextgen Pest Solutions | Aug 21, 2020

Our customers often ask us if they have to leave the house for pest control. The answer is no! The treatment methods pest control companies use today are extremely safe for you and your pets and so you don't need to leave the house. If a more intensive treatment is needed such as for bed bugs or a major infestation of another pest then your technician will advise you of the need to vacate the home for a short period of time in order for the treatment to work and the chemicals (if any are used) to do their job and dry.

How Often Should Pest Control Be Done?

Nextgen Pest Solutions | Aug 21, 2020
Nextgen Pest Solutions | Aug 21, 2020

It is recommended that residential, apartment, and commercial pest control be done every other month. This provides the highest level of pest protection as the average pest control treatment lasts about 60 days. If you have a more intensive pest problem such as ants, bed bugs, or roaches then your pest control may recommend that you have another treatment within a few weeks or a month. After the pest problem is under control then the every other month treatment is usually sufficient.
