Beware!!!!!! I brought both of my dogs here within a couple weeks to be euthanized. The fiasco that they put me through was unbelievable. Getting the needle hooked up in my doggie bag and then getting upset because I said two weeks ago you charged me less to put my other doggie to sleep. Very snotty and arrogant saying to me, “I can take that catheter off now and you can go home.” Such very unprofessional behavior, it was shocking. And to have me so upset and my dog he sensed it right before he’s ready to leave me forever. And the sad part is they all stood up for each other and would not let me talk to the doctor. Five people had to come in to try to strong army about paying more… Five! One was as bad as the other. No compassion, nothing! ALL I wanted afterwards was to talk to the doctor Dr. Pence/Owner who Assisted when I put my first doggy to sleep. I tried to get together with him for weeks and weeks and weeks only to have them give me an excuse every time and here I sit five months later and still unable to talk to the doctor. At one point they said to me you don’t have any pets so you can’t see the doctor. Please, don’t bring your pet here because they don’t care. There were a couple girls that answered the phone that were very nice but other than the two of them, all others Participated in the bad behavior. Shame on this doctor and owner. And if the doctor never really got the many of my messages, he should fire all of them!

I had an emergency that needed an appointment ASAP (within 24-hours). I called 7 other veterinarians. All of them refused to see our cat until 2-3 weeks from now. The Animal Clinic of Windermere booked me the next morning at 11:30am. As soon as they heard what the condition was it was like “Is tomorrow morning 11:30 good for you?” It’s obvious they prioritize animal health over procedure and bureaucracy. The next morning my primary care vet was able to do the emergency surgery. I called and they cancelled the appointment with no issues. All the guy said is “Done deal. I cancelled it. I’m just glad your cat was able to get the care she needs.” Classy people. Worth taking your pet for sure!

No other veterinary clinic beats this place. I’ve been taking my pups here for 20 years. Dr. Pearce is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and he’s put together the most amazing group of veterinarians. I’ve had wonderful experiences with each and every one. The staff, too, is absolutely wonderful.

This past week, my 9 week old puppy was diagnosed with Parvovirus at an overnight clinic. In the morning, I had to quickly make the decision of which veterinary clinic to send him to for the day and I couldn’t be happier with the decision to send him to the Animal Clinic of Windermere. Even without an appointment, I was greeted the second I arrived and the administration team, vet techs, and Veterinarians were so welcoming, kind, helpful, and made me feel comfortable to have my puppy left with them. Everyone was knowledgeable and truly showed compassion. If you are looking for a new veterinary clinic to go to, I would highly recommend this clinic!
