The experience at the Ronald McDonald House in Tampa has been great. Betsy was very accommodating, by providing a mini refrigerator in our room being that I am still pumping breastmilk. Before entering into the Ronald McDonald House just make sure you have your negative COVID-19 test results and quarantine 7 days prior.

Haven't been to this Ronald McDonald House but I am an ambassador in the Durham/chapel Hill area in North Carolina. This is a wonderful and caring place for families and our babies to get the care they need.

I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT THE HOUSE WAS BUILT TO HELP PEOPLE BUT MS. BETSY AND MS. MAGGIE WHO RUN THE PLACE DON'T CARE IF THEY HELP PEOPLE OR NOT THIS IS JUST A PAYCHECK TO THEM. YADIRA IS THE ONLY ONE THERE THAT TREATS YOU LIKE YOU ARE WELCOMED THERE. THE REST ARE PHONIES. I GIVE THE HOUSE A EXCELLENT AND I GIVE THE TREATMENT I GOT A POOR. I WAS HARDLY IN THE HOUSE BUT WHEN I WAS THESE PERSONA SHOULD NOT BE WORKING THERE.

Not sure if Moffitt has a place at Tampa General, but the main location is about 10 miles away!
The Ronald McDonald House is only for families who have a child between the ages of 0-19 being treated at one of the area hospitals. If you have a child being treated over more than a day and you do not reside in Hillsborough county, you can work with your Social worker assigned at your child's hospital to see if you can get a room there. Unfortunately the Ronald McDonald House is not a hotel nor is available to just anyone needing a place to stay.
I don't know I don't work there but I know they do take in Mom's with babies that are newborn in the hospital.
Hi I know some people that stay at the Ronald McDonald house because they have children at Tampa general hospital, my advice is that you call the Ronald McDonald house oh, everyone that works there is amazing, they will give you the right information and I am pretty sure that they will help you. I will pray to the Lord that you will be blessed and that they will help you. God bless you and your family.
It is about 11 miles away and takes between 20 -25 minutes depending on traffic from the House to the hospital
