Don't buy anything based on the "lifetime warranty." I put in a warranty claim and it's been almost 7 weeks with no response, only an automated message with a claim number. It wasn't always that way, Gerber used to be a great company. Now they are all advertising and no customer service.

I have always been a fan of Gerber. Reading some of the recent reviews, really shows how horrible people are towards companies that are still struggling with so many issues post COVID. I have a Gerber F.A.S.T. serrated that due to no fault of Gerber, I broke the belt clip. I reached put to Service completely willing to pay for a replacement clip. But they very graciously replaced it for me at no charge. They clearly state on their website that response times are delayed due to staffing challenges, and it was delayed, but completely understandable. When they did respond, they were efficient with what they asked for, and quick to resolve the issue for me. I'm still a loyal Gerber Customer, and will continue to be one for many years to come. To all the negative comments out there, understand labor is an issue especially in Portland, OR right now. It's a problem that isn't going away anytime soon. Be patient, be kind, and you will see results. To Gerber Gear, thank you for making an excellent product, and for the warranty service you provide.

Customer service is no longer existent. I have called and there is no longer a phone based customer service. I have emailed and never received a response. Used to make great products but no longer the case. I collect and carry knifes. I use them daily at work. I have some gerber knifes and multi tools from 15 years ago and they do not compare to the garbage they sell now. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND BUY A SOG.

Gerber warranty is a myth. I filed a claim months ago. No response. No denial of claim. Nothing. I called their customer support, but they have no one to speak with. Very phone option is a dead end. Cool, I’ll try the email. Nothing. Worst customer support because IT DOES NOT EXSIST.
