The apartments and community are very nice; however, the office is the worst from any apartment complex I’ve ever dealt with. They’re very nice at first, but they don’t care about you once you are there or moving out. They add so many extra fees that no matter what condition you leave your apartment in, you will not get your deposit back and you will be charged extra. All of my appliances were dirty and nasty when I moved in (the pictures that the staff took before I moved in actually prove it) but I was still charged an extra cleaning fee for the appliances. I left them in better shape than they were originally, but that does not matter. They also charge you a disconnect fee to turn off the utilities which are all included in the first place. They give you these ridiculous pool wrist bands that are cheap plastic and can’t cost more than a few dollars, yet they charge you $30 if you don’t return them at move out. I loved living here, but how the office handles move out has ruined the whole place for me. If you’re moving out, I suggest not sweating yourself to clean and touch up paint because it is not actually going to make a difference. I have heard the same thing from several neighbors who have moved out.

If you want to use the internet at all, don’t get the all inclusive package. It completely stops working with no explanation from the office AT LEAST 2 times a month for days. I have dealt with mold as soon as moving in, all areas are flooded and muddy anytime it rains and stay that way for weeks. Not to mention the parking, you will be parking at the front office no matter where you live in the complex if you get home past 8pm. The place isn’t horrible but for the money, I expect better.

As first time renters, Gracie made our transition so easy. Every email, every call, or message we left for her was answered quickly and promptly. Gracie is very knowledgeable about the apartment and very kind to us during the application process by explaining things to us since we are new to this. The apartment on the other hand has been different than what we thought, so its best if I just name the pros and cons. Pros: Great price and overall great area to be in. The apartment itself is very soundproof, and very rarely have we ever heard our neighbors. We love the included amenities for a set price, and the pool is very clean and well kept. The front desk ladies are always very nice when you come in to get a package, or in our case show off our new puppy. Cons: Parking is always a challenge, unless you are directly up front. Duck poop is everywhere around the lake and grass. Cabinet space is limited. There are a lot of spackle marks on the wall since it is an old apartment. The carpet was filthy when we first moved in, and there was mold around my spare bathroom door frame. We took a lot of pictures when we moved in. Our AC unit has been leaking for two months. We have contacted maintence multiple times and even had our AC unit stop working and it got up to 84° in our apartment. One solution they sent a guy to our apartment on sunday (when ac stopped) and he wasnt qualified fo fix it, but instead gave us a portable unit. After 3 hours of the portabel unit, our ac kept rising so we had to leave. I should also mention after 4 or 5 times of them coming to see why its leaking (right next to an outlet) the only solution is that our apartment is too cold. But other than that, its an OK place to be. Just needs major updating. Maybe all hardwood floors, white fresh paint on the walls. New doors for the rusting.

I think you are referring to our sister property, 3800 Acqua at Bridgeport. The answer to your question is "Yes!" Bridgeport will have shops, offices, restaurants, and amenities on the first floor. The apartment homes will be on floors 2 through 4.
