If I could give this place, our tour guide, and the experience 10 stars, I would. Kelly was our tour guide and absolutely incredible. He was hilarious, informative, and cool. My group talked about him and how we got lucky to have had him as our guide. We saw many gators, he called birds onto the boat and fed them, he fed gators, we held a baby gator, we saw a bald eagle, and Kelly answered any questions we had. Definitely the best part of our trip to New Orleans! Thank you New Orleans Airboat Tours and thank you Kelly! Tips: Tip your tour guide, they supply you with a cooler and ice, you can BYOB, put sunscreen on and wear a hat, and if you have a big enough group you can get the whole boat to yourself like we did!

Went on a private boat tour with 7 of my friends and we had the pleasure of having the awesome Captain Myles. By far the best thing we did during our trip to New Orleans. Yes, even better than burbon street. If you are ever in the area make sure you stop by and go on one of these tours. The staff is friendly and informative. The whole tour was a blast.

We did the $60/person tour but they have other options. Call them and ask to be on Captain Chip's boat.

The smaller airboats cost the most but are the most fun. We had a blast! It was well worth the extra money!

Alligators do hibernate when it gets too cold ,so even when we get a couple of warm days you will not see as many gators as in the spring ,summer and fall.

Are theses boats ADA compliant We have someone on crutches

Larry Hodson | Sep 17, 2019
Andy Weinkauf | Sep 17, 2019

You should be able to get them on the boat if they have crutches. They use bench seats, so once on they can slide around. You stay seated once on the boat.
