Rvers, this is the place if your traveling up and down the I95 corridor. This resort is easy to get in/out of but is nestled in between some trees where you don't hear the highway. The facilities are clean and the staff is top notch. Finally, you can't beat the price for this type of place. Plan on staying here.

On the day we arrived, there had apparently been a rain storm that morning. Most of the sites (but not all) were completely flooded, including ours. The small concrete pad that we stepped out of our rig onto was under more than an inch of water and all our hookups were under 3+ inches. The water line is in a box in the ground (previous comments from the campground claim is code in NC though I haven't seen it yet) and the connection they setup to make it easier just lays on the ground. In this case, on the grass under the standing water. I made my way to the office to ask for a different spot because the site was flooded and the elderly lady working the counter abruptly asked me if I had seen the rain come through. All I was asking was for a different spot that wasn't flooded so we could setup and it would give our site time to dry out prior to other guests arriving who could then use that site. But the only option we were given was a site right in the front (D1, I think). This site was smaller and didn't have a gazebo which we had asked for. I would have taken a similar sized site with no gazebo that wasn't flooded. We decided to stay in our original site and only hook up the electric and water until it was able to dry out. The sewer hose would have floated away anyway. We were able to fully hookup in the afternoon on the following day. This is just my guess but I think they have issues with flooding as there are signs all over the campground that the grass is extremely soft. Any amount of water immediately begins to pool which I experienced first hand. Once things dried out, the grounds aren't horrible. You can't hear the highway and quiet hours appear to be respected. Except for around long term tenants' equipment lined around their setup and cars that appear to have been there for a while, the grass is cut and well kept. The dog park in the corner was a decent size and more than accommodated our dog's need to run and chase her ball. We didn't use the mini-golf but it's small and run down. The "playground" is a single slide made up to look like a pirate ship. The meeting room is a large covered concrete pad with a pool table... nothing special. The gazebo on our site was a nice place to setup our chairs and hang out but the picnic table needed some TLC. Overall, we happened to show up on an unlucky weekend with the Internet down (did come back on day 2), pool unusable and the hot tub not hot. I can't completely blame the campground for these as things break from time to time but the ease to which it appears to flood and the upkeep of long term sites is something I feel needs to be addressed. I would also recommend that the water connections be affixed to a pedestal for sanitary reasons. Aside from that, this would be an OK place for an overnight stop on your trip along I-95 but there is nothing here that warrants it calling itself a "Resort" and there's nothing here worth making it a destination stop.

Pretty awesome campground. We got in late and checked in overnight. It's affordable. Gorgeous views. Pool and hot tub. Laundry and clean bathrooms. Dog park. It's just a really nice place and I can't recommend it enough. We will be back again next time we go south.

Very spacious sites. All pull through. Clean and well maintained. Conveniently located 3 minutes off I-95. Staff was very friendly. I read many of the 1-rated reviews. I appreciated that the owner almost always responded. Seems a lot of unreasonable idiots stop along the 95 corridor. If you are a reasonable person then you'll be very happy here.

Yes the pool is open but the hot tub is broken and out of service.
Not far about half hour
During our busy seasons we get 50 to 100 calls per day. Please just call back during office hours.
The have W. E. S. sites and I remember the pool being open until at least 9. Cost is reasonable, but I don't remember exact numbers. They do answer when you call.
