Clean Bathhouses, close to campsites. Rangers always available and watching out for everyone's safety.. Loved the pool and all of the hiking trails available in the area. Saw a copperhead, but warning signs were posted to keep watch. Fabulous camping trip ❤❤❤

Great campground with spacious sites, and super clean bathrooms & showers. However, there are copperheads there. We came very close to one in the dark on our return trip from the showers Thursday night. If you think they blend in well normally, try spotting one in the dark with your flashlight. He was right by the path from b09 towards the bathroom.

Best Campground in Eastern Tennessee. Very well kept with super clean bath houses, a awesome little general store and cheap bulk wood. My go to Camping area.

Very nice well kept campground. It was pretty empty when I stayed since it's off-season, but the bathrooms were clean, the showers were hot, and everything seemed very very well maintained. The sites are pretty well spread out, with nice parking pads, fire rings, tables...etc. No big roads close by, so it's a nice and quiet setting at night. There is also just enough cell service to make a reservation right on site, which makes things easy if you arrive without planning ahead.

Yes, there is a separate place where you can park and ride out for the day. You don't actually bring your horses into the campground at Bandy Creek. The barn is across the road and I think there is a separate group for people who just want to ride for the day
AT&T works fine at the campground, visitor center and sorounding areas.
Kenneth is correct. Go past visitor center and head to the very last barn you see in the stable area. You will see a big pile of wood and some stacked wood around the shed. If the camp store is open you can pay them or after hours there is a deposit box above the stacked wood against the shed. 10 bucks will give you 15 pieces. Bring an axe or maul to split some for starting a fire. Good wood for the price
US Cellular was very sparse. Most of the time not existent.
My thoughts are the same as Luis. Best chance for an answer is to call and ask. I wouldn't think it would be a people though.
