I would give this hospital a minus a hundred because I took my husband there about 2 weeks ago. He was having blackout spells. They did bloodwork, CT scan, chest xray and a EKG. They said everything came back normal. On July 2, 2 weeks later, I had to call the ambulance for my husband cause he blacked out again and they airlifted him to UT hospital in Knoxville Tennessee where he was properly diagnosed and had to have a pacemaker right away and was placed in Cardiac Intensive care. I would definitely highly recommend not to go to this hospital because you will not receive proper diagnosis. The staff was not friendly and the emergency room was small. The hospital also had a foul odor of mold and mildew.

My husband, Doug Sharp, spend his last days at the Pioneer Community Hospital. He couldn't have been treated any better anywhere. The nursing staff was amazing! They treated him like a brother with super kindness and loving care. In the end, they did everything they could to make a very sad time as easy as possible. Since he was in the hospital thirteen days, it was nice to have an extra bed in the room for the family. I am glad that the hospital re-opened. It is a valuable resource for our community. There comes a time in life that we're going to leave this world regardless of where we are. After the exceptional treatment Doug received, I hope I'm at our hospital when my life ends. A place where you're among friends and can count on being treated with unbelieveable respect. Thank you Pioneer Community Hospital Nursing Staff for doing your job with love!
