Very shady dealer. Was going to purchase a car here but ended up leaving due to their business practices. I would suggest looking up their yelp page and reading all the horrible experiences.
Your vehicle has a maintenance minder system. There is various checks and balances that the car will go through based on mileage and the way you drive the car. So you can just wait until the car tells you when to have the oil changed. Some people are more traditional and they have their own system on when to change the oil based on mileage just to be on the safe side. But now with the high viscosity oils your car can go longer without changing the oil. Some people want to change their cars oil every 3000, 5000, and it varies.

The warranty you purchase has approved repair shops. I would imagine Honda franchise dealerships are an approved shop. Spreen Honda will definitely call you warranty company to verify coverages. I would definitely recommend taking a Honda to a franchise dealership with manufacture trained technicians.
