The workers were very nice there and had a lot of resources available. It was very cheap for renting a room along with access to a game room, laundry, a playground for kids. They do have scheduled times of when we can access them, but only at night, they're all available all day. They also provide you with a cubby and bin to put food in for those that stay a while. Very great place.

My sister and her husband were so blessed by the Ronald McDonald House when their son was admitted to LLUMH. It was quiet, convenient, and had a playground to help entertain the younger sibling that was not allowed in the hospital. They provided meals and a place for you to cook your own meals if you wanted to. I can not say enough positive things about them!

Just the family of the loved one I was told for me when we were there for our daughter last year we had 2 beds we could have up to 6 but there was just 4 of us
You have to be referred here, by a physician I think. It's $12 per night. No meals as such, except maybe 2-3x a week a charity/church will cook something. However there are some free basic provisions like pancake mix, cereal, bread. There are 5 well equipped kitchens and pantries/fridges/freezers to store your stuff.
The rooms are income based, but also your social worker can advocate for your family's need. There are some donated food items, but Walmart is a half a mile away.
You have to be referred by the Social Worker at the hospital
I would call them.
