I live in this neighborhood. This is one of the worst parks I've ever seen, it's absolutely filthy and there are large numbers of homeless and gang members just hanging out constantly. Not to mention the grass is all dead and there is nothing to do here. Avoid at all costs there are so many other parks in Long Beach to go to, this is the bottom of the barrel and they should be ashamed for not maintaining it. I see workers here pretending to be working but they're obviously not doing anything.

I like that events and classes they offer there, plus that provide walls for people to spray paint their art. I think that's community friendly and supportive to the youth. They offer free classes. There is regular walker, and people exercising in the mornings. There is homeless people there from time to time. They are pretty nice people yet a bit messy at times however, they do clean up too. And receive support from the community.

Very nice and clean park. The parents were very respectful with the little kids. The only thing i didn't like was that there were some drunk guys standing at the gate looking at kids or the women. They left after a while but it was a bit weird, sketchy. After that everything was great.

This park is full of homeless people drinking and smoking meth in the restrooms. Its not safe to take ur kids to this park or to the restrooms. Long beach p.d should do more patrols or hire some type of security company to keep this park clean of drugs n homeless people
