I went through a 90 day program and Detox to come off Pain meds.. These folks were helpful. Even during COVIC They changed my life , Taught me many ways to deal with relapse prevention and Coping skills. Nacho in the kitchen let me help cook and make cakes and desserts. It was worth every moment. It's all about what you want to do with your life. Admitting, Being honest with self, Doing the work.. learning to deal with resentment. I learned a lot. I'm free off pills. Thank you RedGate for giving me my life back. Dave. You led me to Christ. Thank you. Kisha, Tiffany you taught me to face things real... Orlando.. you taught me kindness. Claudia.. you gave me hope.. to everyone else.. you gave me love and kindness and the tools to move on... Thank you again REDGATE. now . I'm ready to live again and be with my family.. and finish the chapters in my life clean and sober and in GODS HANDS.Miss Shirley in the kitchen cried when she saw me leave. Tell her it's ok. Keep the love. SINCERELY, CAPTAIN STEVAN FLORIAN

I never thought I would end up in place like this, needless to say I did. It has been the only thing, I believe that has given me the “tools” to stay clean for any length of time. This was a quite a few years ago. I wish I would have been told years prior to that, that I wasn’t alone, their are people more then willing to help (it’s just a matter of my accepting the help being offered), and cold Turkey is no way to try and clean up. This place will always hold a special place in my heart. Their detox facility was a HUGE help.

Terrible place, if you like being in jail come here. Intake for detox took 6.5 hours, long hallways, 2 showers for 15+ patients. To top it off their counselor Stephany Hendrix acts like it's such a hassle when you ask her for help, and is very loud, obnoxious, and very pushy.

Parking lot is too small, as with all places in Long Beach you have to rely on street parking.

It's a 6 month program after 14 day medical detox. Shared rooms with 1 to 3 others.
Redgate builds structure but your son's aftercare is a 12-Step program, one day at a time. Redgate is a place to start and begin learning about sobriety and AA is the design for life.
I think you at least need medi-cal
Can u be addmited the day u go in for the intake
Some do Or They will send a letter and Someone that is In the program to assist you
It's an adult program but children can visit.
You can but you must leave it with staff. If you try to hide it and are caught you will be kicked out of the facility. It's about recovery and not about reaching out to anyone with a phone. Stay focused on yourself and life will get better.
Call them
Due to strict patient confidentiality, they cannot give out information. Try writing the person a letter to Redgate's address. They do give mail to the clients.
Outpatient detox? Never heard of one. It's in-house detox and a live-in recovery center. It's works if you are honest, willing, and open-minded. I know of great success for those who sincerely want to change and enjoy a useful, purposeful life. I know this. I'm asked to speak there the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Experience, strength, and hope is what Redgate gives. It's what we all contribute.
Call everyday leave your name and contact information and i believe they still are
Yes. I went there for alcoholism.
I would like to know is this a co-ed program ?
No, walk-in not recommended. Call first
Yes, only Sunday, for residential client from 3p-5p
You will know at time of the assessment...varies by individual needs
Call for availability
The benefits outweigh any cost.
The best place to find that answer is calling Redgate directly and talking to a staff member.
It's a safe environment but if you're using this as an excuse for your recovery then keep on questioning this or that. Do what's necessary. Start your program now.
Absolutely no visitors while in detox. You can drop off clothes, cigarettes, etc.
On the corner of PCH and Chestnut. Sits on Chestnut.
It depends on bed availability. Also, most patients will need to detox first and then go over to the treatment side.
You can go to detox only but it is strongly recommended to go to rehab from detox. It greatly increases your odds of lasting sobriety.
Yes
