They were very thorough and patient with me and my mispacking. I took no offense when they turned me around. They were doing their job and I am thankful.

Like this little regional airport. Nice interior. Not too much crowdy. Easy to check-in. You can park 30min for free and then per hour 2$ which is reasonable. Restrooms are clean. You can have vending machine to get some food. Wish to have some cheaper fights regularlyππ.

I don't know how much to park at the airport, but I work at the FBO a little ways from the airport an it's within walking distance an it's free to park here people do it all the time.
Yes, there are rental cars available at GTR. I believe they have Avis/Budget, Enterprise, and Hertz available.
Itβs 25 miles from Columbus to MSU. The GTR airport is approximately halfway between the two towns of Starkville and Columbus.
According to Google Maps it is 72.1 miles, or an hour and ten minutes. The majority of the route is quiet 4-lane road. Thanks for asking and feel free to contact us anytime!
Yes, but there are a limited number of drivers in the area. Plus, if youβre going to Starkville the airport is outside the distance ring that gets you a driver. The best option for Starkville is the free shuttle. It takes you to two key spots in town where you can either connect with more free shuttles or get your Uber from there a lot cheaper.
You will have to call terminal and ask. Sorry I can't help.
Fortunately the airport escaped any damage and is operating normally.
As Greg said, all of our flights (3 per day) are to/from Atlanta on Delta. Normally really good connections to Houston. Thanks for asking!
