The worst customer service ever, & racists towards anyone except Hispanic. Observed & heard receptionist verbally tell nonhispanics she couldn't help them as it related to letters received, & give telephone numbers for case worker(s) that didn't work. However, when a Hispanic person approached her counter she lowered her voice & politely told them in regards to letter correspondence that technically they had until the end of the month & any information they needed. What a difference this made in calming some people down, why isn't it done for EVERYONE???????

The person who helped me get the information I needed was very nice and went well beyond amazing when making sure I had everything I needed.

DPSS General Phone Number # 877-410-8827 for Riverside County. Follow the prompts to get to any person, so that you can ask them as many questions as you can & then ask to get connected to your preferred location.Once you get connected to your preferred location, follow the prompts to speak to a live person there, as well & then ask them any more questions you can think of, INCLUDING for any possible Direct phone numbers, before they connect you to the actual department you need, in case a voicemail picks up or you get disconnected during the transferring process. PATIENCE Is Definitely Required!! Trust Me! If you're persistent, you'll usually get the answers to your questions, but on 1 occasion, NO amount of calling worked! I was forced to go in! It turns out that even though they kept transferring me to my social worker, my particular worker didn't actually have her own Direct phone #, according to her, once I finally went in to talk w/ her, to resolve my problem! Good Luck!
I totally agree and then they deny you attempted the call. I even called the supervisor took me to voicemail and left a voicemail and to this day no one has returned my call
Yes u can
8-10am only. Google their phone number and apply online. Best options at this time
Yeah just call before hand.
It does NOT cost any money to pick up an application. It is FREE to pick up any of the applications!
No, walk INS welcome. Just make sure everyone has masks.
Don't know for sure. I'm leaning towards a "no".
I would assume that they have a very very long line down there,,that is a very very busy place,,you may come out better by just going up there,,,hope this helps you..
Um sorry,,,,,,the wheel turns slow there,,,,😒, from what I hear,, it'll go good for you when you stay on them,,,hopes this helps..
ALWAYS BEST to go down there and talk to them in person!!!
I believe they have a kiosk machine that prints new EBT cards with your information or ID card. Check business hours
You should of gotten it that day you applied call them
Possibly..... but call your worker it's best to come forth before any additional consequences arise.
Sorry not sure but if you Google it you can get the phone # and other information
Yes you can so long as you werent discontinued for not reporting changes to income, people in household, etc.
I can't remember but go on their website and it tells you the hours
How did you not qualify?
Memorial, this is not the website of the social services department, dpss but Google maps or guides. Click on their website and see hours schedule. Nemoria, this is not a website of the public services department, only Google maps and its guides, us. See the DPSS website for accurate information.
