I'm STANDING here in front of the door of the Pasadena Parking office and there is ONE person, I repeat, One person 'serving' Pasadena Residents!!!! It's been half an hour of me STANDING here, NO PLACE OR CHAIR TO SIT

I have gone into the office in 3 different occasions for the parking permit for my work van.Had a company’s letter license plate and registration. I paid for the whole year, was out if town for 3 weeks and already received 3 tickets and only being back 3 days. Now I must pay night parking to not receive a 4th ticket. The city of Pasadena must get together! Why ticket someone who already has and paid for a parking permit!

Please work with your vendor and fix this Issue. It's very annoying to try and use the application then have to go buy one in person after all. Also hire better customer service reps who can actually provide assistance.

EDIT: The office finally fixed the issue and reimbursed the ticket but the reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that it essentially took 3 months to get reimbursed and the incident itself occurred 9 months ago. I appreciate the help but I hope the parking office can improve itself to be more understanding and timely. The night we moved in, we purchased through the site a one time overnight parking pass but didn't realize that our printer was busted. I was hoping that we could write all the details regarding the transaction on a piece of paper and put it on a dashboard instead of wasting it and buying one from a kiosk. Nope still got a ticket. Want to appeal? Sure, you have to pay the ticket anyways first. After two months passed, they finally looked at my appeal. I hoped that I could get some sympathy from being a new resident of Pasadena and showing proof that I purchased a pass that night. Nope, rejected. Ultimately it's my fault but it gives you an idea of what Pasadena parking is all about :)

Meters are not enforced on Veteran's Day.
Just a phone call to (626) 744-6440! We have limited staff due to the pandemic and can't be everywhere at once, but if you see a violation, give us a call.
Ryan, We've answered this question before. They can't. They may have paid with our mobile app or they may have a disabled placard, or they just may not be paying. If we check and they haven't paid, they will be issued a citation. The same goes for any vehicle throughout the metered areas within the City.

I want to know why the vehicles that park in the those two spots never pay for their parking.
No, it's a city wide ordinance. The only requirement is that signs be posted at major entrances to the City.
Please visit https://www.cityofpasadena.net/citizen-service-center/submit-a-request/ to report the issue and ot will be forwarded to the correct department.

Meter holidays are posted on all meters. Easter is not a meter holiday.
Do you mean for the online overnight passes?
The Transportation Department does not enter private property to patrol parking spaces.
