Cracked the screen on my old phone and Cosmo had it replaced quickly. Very happy with the service.

This was my first time having my phone serviced at Cosmo. My iPhone7 had fallen off the counter, landed face down, and the screen shattered despite having a tempered glass screen protector. I was super upset thinking I’d have to bring it to an Apple store for repair and that it would cost >$250, which at that point I would consider just purchasing a new phone. However, I really didn’t want to spend that much replacing the screen nor did I want to purchase a new phone at this time. I quickly googled phone repair shops and found Cosmo. I wanted to give them a try after seeing a number of good reviews. I went in right away and it was fairly easy to find on the first floor of the Paseo off of Colorado. The technician of the store was super nice and helpful (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name). She offered me two options for replacement. One screen costing $80 and the other costing $110 with the latter being of higher quality. I went with the $110 one and she told me it would take 10 minutes. I was surprised bc I expected it to take longer! I gave her my phone to leave her to it and took a stroll around the Paseo. When I came back, it was only another few minutes before she was finished. Just like that it looked brand new! Also, I didn’t realize until I got home, but she placed a new tempered glass screen protector on top without me asking or charging me for it. Not sure if that automatically comes with the $110 screen, but if not, I thought it was incredibly nice and I appreciate it! Overall, great service and a great experience! Thank you! Pros: service was fast, installed the battery I brought in for my phone Cons: Damaged other parts of my phone during the repair process. Power button no longer clicks/has to be pressed really hard, volume buttons no longer work at all, plastic bit around screen was cracked and the staff did not bother to glue it back so it's loose. Phone backing was not properly glued back on and I can see 1mm gap between back and phone. No warranty since they used a battery I brought in. Perhaps the service is better if you have an iPhone. I'd recommend against bringing your own replacement part in case they damage other parts of your device.

I dropped my phone on a Thursday evening. After being sad that I would have to live with a cracked screen, I decided to stop in. They gave me a quote, that while expensive, was still cheaper than a new phone and had to order the parts as they don't keep screens for my model on site (it seems this would've been less of a problem with a Samsung or Apple phone). They gave me an estimate of three business days to get the screen but on a whim, I checked in the following Monday (technically 1 or 2 business days) and they had just received the screen. 45 minutes later, my phone was in almost new working order and it's been fantastic since. I'm very impressed because again, it's a lesser sold model phone and they were polite and courteous through the whole process.

I would not know exactly how much, but I think of 60 the minimum but it can vary depending on whether it is the newest
The problem may be on the Logic Board where the Home Button makes contact with the Logic Board. Has this device suffered water damage? I would take the device apart and focus on that area where the home button communicates with the logic board and try cleaning that area thoroughly with Alcohol. You may have some debris in there thats jamming the contact up.
I'm afraid there's not such a unique step by step procedure for everyone. You need to use your brain, schematics, board view and at least a multimeter to go through all Macbook's power lines and identify where the problem might be. In case the board doesn't work inside the macbook, first thing try if it does when outside the mac, in order to rule out possible shorts present in other machine components. If it doesn't and you have a green light from the charger you can avoid checking the onewire circuit and jump straight to PPBUS. From there, you have to check all power lines, voltage and current sensing until you find some hint. Since yours was a liquid spill on the board look for burnt components or the likes with a good light source and some magnification, you'll probably find some visible hints to start with.
Sorry but no, not possible to swap them, different shapes and connectors positions.
I had the same problem. But I got it fixed. The 3D Touch and home button cable (one cable) is very fragile. Remove the metal backplate on the back of the screen an check the complete cable. Mine was broken. I replace the whole backlight + 3D Touch (Removing of the old backlight + 3D Touch is very hard) and the Touch ID is working without any problems.
I would also try and hold the Power button, the UP volume button, and the Home button to power the device on. You won't have to hold the buttons once you see the Samsung logo screen and it should take you to the menu to do a hard reset. Once you get to the next point remember you will use the volume buttons to select the data reset and the button above to press enter, then select yes to reset the device and you should be able to restart it from there if it doesn't do it automatically. This process will take several minutes and will stay on the Samsung logo screen so do not be alarmed. Afterwards you will be able to reconfigure the device from there. If that doesn't work let me know and I'll continue to search for an answer.
Where did you buy it? If you bought it from Apple or from an official retailer like Carphone warehouse etc. Then you'll have a year warranty and can get it replaced free. If you bought it second hand, from a third part repair shop or online, then it may still have warranty, unless it is refurbished and has been repaired elsewhere. If this is the case, it may be the screen that needs replacing to solve your issue. Either way, wherever you got it, it's best to return it and get a refund or a replacement device.
It does that as a boot up feedback haptic. Most Samsung devices do it. It's just letting the user know it's powering on, it's nothing that can be disabled as far as I know. Hope that helped!
the people at the shop can show you
ou need to dis-assemble the rest of the phone and clean all the affected parts using Isopropyl Alcohol 90%+ (available at most pharmacies) to remove all traces of corrosion and water. Do not use "rubbing alcohol" as in some cases this is <70%, can contain scents and is not as effective. If you do check the label to verify the amount
its supposed to thread down on the new AUX port. Its not 100% necessary to have, but thats where its going to be.
