Nicely located the parking garage is right at the corner for $41 for after 10pm show. Theater was well organized and cleaned.

Great theater and awesome snack package. My one issue is that it's not handicapped friendly. No elevators. Climbing to the mezzanine sucked, hard. Couldn't afford orchestra seats but, it didn't detract from the show one bit. I'll be singing about Rum Tum Tugger for a while.

The theatre was beautiful but security was lacking when a woman behind me became drunk, belligerent, and threatening after this theatre continued to serve her alcohol. She was disturbing everyone around her. She became threatening to me personally and security refused to do anything except let me move. This threat was still in the theatre. TERRIBLE SECURITY.

Theater doing a good job during omicron surge. They actually check vaccination status and match to identification. The ushers verbally reminded people to keep mask on and have extras to pass out. They could discourage refreshments, but that would hurt their bottom line that helps them stay in business. The crowd was sparse on a Thursday night so it was easy to socially distance.

Westfield mall is close by and has a huge food court on the lower level and a few restaurants upstairs "under the dome."
Golden Gate Theater is part of SHN. To buy tickets to shows at GGT or the Orpheum go to SHN.com
6x6 garage behind Market St on a little "alley" called Stevenson - it's near and close to the theater - very small walk but you will have a couple street crossings.
The Last Ship is 2h 55m with 1 intermission.
Yes, they will do a security check before you walk in. I've attended this theater with my backpack on and have not experienced any issues before.
There is a lot on Golden Gate Avenue less than a block away that should be accessible.
I don't know. I just attended. A friend bought tix
You will have to call the venue or look on the website under ticket information
There is a garage right next to the theater.
There's no dress code, though I wouldn't show up in sandals, a tank top, and shorts. The attire you'll see most is upscale trendy. Most of the men will be in business casual and the women in dressesl. That said, there were also those in clean jeans and sneakers who didn't look out of place. I think for the most part, if you dress decent, you'll fit right in.
Just google it.
Its ever present, don't worry about it, just be aware of where you're stepping
On the SHN SF website they sell tickets in that way.
5th and mission...cheap in evenings when attending a GGT show
We are vacation. I never thought and just want look at places but I wish.
There is a special ticket booth within Union Square where you can obtain special discounted tickets the day of an event. SHN has tickets available for all dates still available, just not sure if they such a 'rush' option.
Yes, do it all the time! Get off at Powell Station and it's a short walk from there.
That's what Google is for.
I never been in that seat
Well there is definitely a sweeter spot a ways back in center... But if you want to see a much more intimate show... Near front is another take on the same show... Also depends on show too... Juke box musicals can be too intense in volume close up... Unless you are into the finer dace techniques... So.. hope that helps
