The nice thing about this place is that you can pick your wood, but in our two pallets, there are very few straight ones, so there were very few opportunities for us to choose in grain pattern and color. We asked them to glue up three pieces of 11 feet mahogany. They charged us more than $1,100 and told us that they cannot guarantee this and they cannot guarantee that. So, after selecting wood for a couple hours under the sun, without the designated help gone after a few minutes, we gave them up. Dave's quote for 3 raw mahogany plank is $1,820, 3 times more expensive than the quote I got from other lumber, also more expensive than their own price tag in the store. I did not want to waste my time to figure out how he calculated.

They have good building products for our home renovation. The only reason it’s not a 5 star rating is the woman at the Will Call counter whom every time (we’ve been here multiple times) we pick up our orders, she is always impatient and behaves like it’s a bother to assist. Not every customer is experienced and buying materials for a homeowner (not a contractor) can be intimidating. A little kind and patient customer service should be basic.

This is a Lumber specialty store NOT a hardware store. Of course prices are slightly higher than a national retailer. This a family owned business.
You need to know the exact size of the bench the exact material that you want and the exact amount of material you're going to need prices are about the same at ganahl and home Depot it's up to you to know how much money you want to spend
Ganahl carries an extensive line of siding from a few different brands. Selections include pine shiplap and t&g from Gorm, cedar and redwood totem siding, which is more of what people think when they say shiplap, and a variety of pre-primed and engineered siding from manufacturers such as Windsor one, Truewood and Hardie cement board. Just keep in mind that you have to prove that a bin of lumber is bad so an employee will bring a new unit, otherwise you can pay an extra fee for appearance grade and look through as many units as you want to find your perfect piece. And if you absolutely cannot find what you're looking for, Ganahl has a mill onsite to make you any profile you desire with a reasonable turn around.
Most likely they will have to make it to your specs but, yes they have Cheery Wood.
