Pretty area and well maintained. The parking lots were plenty big to handle the visitors on a Saturday morning. Trails are wide for group hiking and well marked. The views of the valley and Mt Diablo are really beautiful on clear days.

Magical trails! We got here in the early morning on a weekend in November and it was gorgeous. Waves of fog created the hillside and bathed the trails in mist, hiding the resting cows until we were almost upon them. You gotta check out this area.

I love coming here. It's so pretty and peaceful. Even if there are lots of cars in the parking lot, people are very spead out. Friendly people and lots of dogs out here. I walk my great niece here and she loves running around and playing here.

I haven't seen it locked in years but I wouldn't want to leave my car over night. It could trigger a search...
You can find wildflowers throughout the park. The flowers aren't doing much so far this year though, hopefully we'll get a good bloom when the weather warms up.
There is no campground as far as I can tell.
The website says that parking lot hours are 8am to sunset.
They are allowed on many trails, but are restricted from the Crest trail and other narrow single-track. You can find a map online on their page

It depends. Briones is a series of ridgelines and valleys. Any of the major parking areas in Briones has easy mellow hikes up at least one, if not two, valleys. The trails that go up the ridges are steep jeep roads. Beautiful views but not particularly easy. The entrance area near the archery range has a couple easy hikes up two different valleys.
